Low profile and work well

Excellent sensors. Very long battery life using BLE technology. Used one of these sensors to replace a rechargeable Z-Wave sensor that had to be recharged every four months, necessitating reaching it via stepladders, a real pain. The new Shelly sensor has been operating for over three months now and remaining (cheap) battery life is still 95% Fast response for a sensor at this price point. Usual high Shelly quality. Works with the Shelly app or with Home Assistant using a Bluetooth proxy such as the one built in to many Shelly devices.

The button to switch it on did not work. I had to return it to the store.

The Bluetooth devices aren't the easiest to get setup but once you do they work really well. Works really well with Home Assistant and its Bluetooth relays

I have 8 of these and some of them came with flat batteries. They have no lights or UI so if I had not already known that my setup process to HomeAssistant had worked before then I would have assumed that they were DOA. I had spare CR2032 so could quickly swap the battery to figure which ones were flat but this was not a good experience. They have a proximity, tilt and luminance in a tiny inconspicuous package and would get 5* if not for the lack of a plastic pull tag to ensure the battery did not go bad in the supply chain.

Arrived with an empty battery and an instruction manual for a totally different product.

Ho acquistato questo dispositivo per monitorare l’apertura della porta e migliorare la sicurezza della casa. L’installazione è stata semplice e immediata: tramite l’app Shelly il riconoscimento è rapido e la configurazione richiede pochissimi minuti. Il vero punto di forza è l’integrazione con Home Assistant 🏡. Una volta aggiunto alla rete, il sensore viene rilevato automaticamente e si può subito utilizzare in automazioni, notifiche di sicurezza e scenari personalizzati. La risposta agli eventi è veloce e l'aggiornamento dello stato è sempre preciso. 📸 Nota sull’installazione: Il sensore si mimetizza molto bene sulla porta grazie alla finitura effetto legno. Una volta installato, risulta poco invasivo e si integra perfettamente con il telaio, mantenendo un aspetto pulito ed elegante. Out of 6 door window sensors purchased, 5 failed with battery dead on arrival = 83% failure rate! 2 were black and 4 were brown. All brown failed and 1 black failed. All batteries were tested to have 0.1 volt, whereas a new battery reads 3.35 volt approximately. After testing each failing device with a good battery I was able to install the latest firmware. Shelly is clearly at fault here for not packing a thin sheet of material in the battery housing to prevent battery consumption while in storage and can be withdrawn by the purchaser. The bottom line is that a battery adds an extra cost of approximately 20% to the purchase price. I do not intend to buy any more of the brown sensors because there is obviously a poor quality control issue along with the higher price that is totally unjustified.

Aunque cuesta algo integrarlo si no estas en el mundo de la domótica, luego es útil para saber si tienes ventanas abiertas si llueve, pudiendo hacer que, por ejemplo, se bajen persianas para que no entre el agua si estas fuera de casa o sin pasar por todas las habitaciones. Tiene sensor de luminosidad por lo que también se puede integrar con el encendido de luces.

Buen producto, fácil de configurar y sin ningún problema. Llevo casi un año y la batería sigue marcando full

Gründe: - so klein, dass er in den Rahmen der Tür, des Fensters passt und nicht sichtbar ist - über die shelly BLE-app läßt sich a) beacon abschalten: Batterie hält länger b) Firmware updaten - Einfache und funktionale Integration in Home Assistant - Schnelle Reaktion - Zuverlässige Verbindung BLE/Wifi gateway erforderlich. z.B. einer der Shelly mit Bluetooth. Dort in den Einstellungen: "Enable Bluetooth Gateway" Habe auch jede Menge Zigbee-sensoren. Weniger zuverlässig, Batterie hält weniger lang, Reaktionszeit höher, größeres Gehäuse. Umständlicher Betreib ohne Cloud (z.B. Tuya, Smartlife, ...)
