This clock replaced one of similar "antique" look. It was a good price and arrived promptly. It has proved an ideal purchase in every respect. Attractive, non-obtrusive looks, very clear face, silent and accurate.

Could not believe how difficult it was to fit an AA battery, thought it must be faulty, but succeeded by holding the battery parallel against the recess and forcing it in.....needs to be just a little bit bigger....other than that looks very attractive and excellent value

A nice looking clock that looks good in any room, although there is a slight background whirring of the mechanism which may disturb some people at night (when there are no external sounds) if placed in a bedroom.Initially it stopped whenever the second hand reached 12 at the same time as the minute hand but started when taken off the wall. It transpired that those hands touched at 12 even though there were the usual gaps between all three hands. After removing the back clips to expose the mechanism a gentle tweaking of the minute hand overcame the problem and the clock is working fine now.

Nice contrast with especially white, ivory or cream walls. Easy to hang on wall by knocking in a fairly small nail and then placing the clock with the rounded hanging hole. It lays fairly flat against the wall. Very pleased. :)

I didn't expect much but for the price i was expecting at least to be time accurate.At first it started going slow and loosing 5-10 mins over a period of a month. Eventually i noticed it would fall 2 hours behind. It's a typical low quality chinese product.
