The fabric is soft, and the hat is well-adjusted and meets purpose. Size is to its description and quality is worth it for the price. I LOVE IT and MY SON LOVES IT TOO! When you receive the item, I suggest you let it ventilate because like everything that is stored in a bag catches a certain smell.

My daughter wore this for her presentation on Amelia Earhart and received lots of compliments. She is 8 and it was a little big on her, so it will definitely fit for the next couple of years.

It fit my tall 5 year old who normally wears 6x so I’d say sizing for a girl is generous but I’m glad we went with the size 5 as it was great. My daughter loves it. The top is a little warm for summer but probably great for a coolish Halloween night.
