Rolodex Business Card Tray Black Large

You too can purchase in the smug knowledge that you join a very select group of people still using a Rolodex post Y2K. I bought with the best of intentions but haven’t been great at keeping it updated. It’s for any clients I finish helping so I’ve got conversation queues/memory joggers if we ever talk again in the future; I’m very good at knowing I know a name but not why I know it! A living relic of 70s/80s. Conversation piece for your grandkids. Heirloom.

I found this the best way to store phone numbers in a busy office, it just takes too long to open up contacts on the computer when you need a number at once. It's a well made item, and comes with 'cards' in place so you can write contact details on them. I bought the separate plastic holders for business cards, these fit easily into the Roladex. The only disappointment was when I saw the same Roladex for sale in the local bargain book shop for £1.99! C'est la vie.

Decent quality except for 'weight' of paper for storing the info. Those (blank) sheets are not really made from card, but thin paper whereas most users would expect business-card type thickness to withstand constant use.Have just ordered a set of lined "cards" to match and plan to enter my info on them, then fix them onto the supplied ones. Hope they will snap into place ok afterwards like the originals. Delivery was swift - but to wrong house. Tracking stated incorrectly it was "handed" to me. Interestingly, driver refused to return (20 yards) to retrieve the delivery. Despite my tryng to reason with him, he just drove off so I had to enter another's property and guess where it might be. He'd shouted "I put in black bin" so I guessed something was lost in translation and delved into a half filled, BROWN garden refuse bin. Good result.

Brilliant Rolodex. It is the large one and it's so much easier than all the numbers, passwords and addresses I have in various books all over the place. The cards are not paper thin, and I have had no problems with them falling out. You just need to not manhandle the thing. All my information is in one place now and that's great! No more rummaging through drawers for numbers etc. The quality of the Rolodex is excellent. I give it the big thumbs up!!!

I have had many different information index systems but Rolodex is a clear winner when it comes to convenience. It may be more bulky than some but if you need info at your fingertips, simple to update and operate, you cannot do better than buy the Rolodex. Some reviewers say that the cards are flimsy, I disagree they are certainly up to the job and plenty of them. Not cheap but well worth the money.

Bought this as a Christmas present as a business card holder - but unfortunately it is not (it is pre-existing flimsy paper cards you can write on), despite the description as the recipient discovered it on opening, but it went out of the return window specified by Amazon, so stuck with it. Should have read the reviews before :( Amazon you should be better in labelling your products - not to mislead your customers...

The metal stand is sturdy - which by comparison makes the 500 flimsy cards supplied disappointing. I think they are about 100g weight, maximum, maybe less, like slightly stronger than average photocopier paper. I have no confidence that they will withstand a few flicks without tearing at the punched holes, and sorting through paper-thin cards is easy - you get little purchase on the card with your fingers or thumbs as you spin through them. I used one of these Rolodex business card trays in the US recently and the card supplied was thick and resilient. Honestly, we can put a man on the moon ... etc. ....

The 500 blank cards are more than sufficient for jotting down quick notes and abbreviated, frequently used recipes. I can put the stand on the countertop next to me when I cook. It is easy to find my notes with the alphabetical dividers.

Genau das Richtige für meinem Schreibtisch, gut verarbeitet, klein, praktisch, preiswert. Allerdings stand in der Beschreibung "inkl. 250 Hüllen, für bis zu 500 Karten"; allerdings waren Karten dabei und keine Hüllen.

I can't use this. It came without any sleeves for the name cards. It came with a blank pieces of paper which I do not know what to do with them. I need to put the name cards in transparent plastic sleeves I need to retun
