Too much bounce
These fake skins are extremely rubbery. When you're tattooing human skin, the skin absorbs a lot of the energy from the needle moving in and out, and it creates a really smooth feel. On these fake skins, they reflect so much of the energy that the entire skin starts vibrating back at you when you're tattooing on it. This makes straight line work extremely difficult to accomplish. The density of the rubber also limits the sort of techniques that are possible on it, that are possible in human skin. Difficulty trying to use the edge of a mag on these skins, whereas on human skin it's trivial to do.
