Fosmon WaveLink 51054HOM Add-On Door Motion Sensor Unit (No Receiver) - White

It's innovative and cool. I use it to detect motion around my house. Let's me know if someone is coming and more importantly, where, by using different chimes. Easy set up. Easy to pair with the receiver. It's pricey compared with other similar products.Update 1/20/19Continues to work as advertised. Got used to the chimes and know immediately if they've been triggered. Sometimes wind can set it off.Update 4/8/19:I've had this for several months. It works well. The best feature is you can customize the ring tone for each sensor so you know where there is motion. I have 4 sensors covering my house. While it works most of the time, there seems to be blind spots on some not others. Frustrating. Quality control issues.

Got replacement hoping it would fix problem from before, but still won't work properly. I find that it either has major blindspots or you have to move at a certain slow speed to set it off. Moving at regular speed or too fast won't set it off! I tried syncing it and wouldn't sense my motion to acknowledge setup if I waved my hand too fast or too slow. Then it wasn't going off when deliveries were being dropped off right under it unless the delivery guy stood there for a sec and then walked away, but not if just dropped off. So frustrating!!!

We have one near our back door and one where the dog passes through the patio. We have dogs barking on the back door as notice, and a tune for the dog so we know to open the door for him. I like that it's one receiver because it occupies an electric outlet (which also saves big batteries as others require for the receiver). We chose the parking dog for the back door because the device (music) could be heard on approach, but the dog barking sound isn't as obvious to visitors (or worse). I highly recommend!

This worked but was REALLY beyond normal sensitive. It's for a store front and no matter where we put it. It caught other movement and dinged ALL THE TIME. Like for people across the street or walking buy our door. Or us walking in the room. ANYWHERE in the room.

I recently had a man snooping around..It’s now great to know, if anyone comes within 10 feet of my door, windows, boat house, etc..... I bought a total of three sensor motion detectors.. all works on one plug in, and are easy to set each with different sound signals, so I know which area has motion..

Extremely sensitive. Difficult to place without sounding at the slightest movement (squirrels and other small animals)

Installed 2 units on our highest theft aisles in the store to alert use when someone entered. Mounted at foot level and narrowed the beam width they have helped reduce the theft rate.

I have these in 3 places around my yard and now know if someone is in the area before they show up at my door. I do get some false alarms when the suns heat is shimmering near my house from one, though.

When I paired it with my receiver it went okay. I mounted the unit in my driveway any when I woke in the mourning I could hear a beep now and again. It took some time to realize the it was coming from the receiver. When I turned the sending unit off it stopped. As soon as I turned it on again I got the same result. I was past the return time allotted so I called the company and after trying many things, they said they would send me a replacement. It arrived quickly and worked well They didn't ask me to return the other one.

It works great for the first month or so, then starts triggering never-ending alarms when it's raining (no heavy rain, no wind, no obstacles, no bushes/trees within at least 15 meters, no movements whatsoever).When I remove and re-insert the batteries, it gets to normal, then after about a couple of hours, starts doing the same crazy thing. The older sensor (same model) was much better, only stopped working after about 4 years.

Bought this as an add-on to the Fosmon WaveLink 51007HOM. Works great -- very sensitive to motion. The supplied mounting screws are garbage and broke using a hand screwdriver, but no big deal. As with all cheap Chinese electronics we'll wait to see how long it lasts.

It’s good only for indoor use or in a place where it’s not too cold. Mine stopped working just in a month. Not the right product for outdoor use in Canadian Winter.
