Exceptionally, lightweight and a solid cord length for a small room. The different positions of the outlets makes for high functionality for home office use. The on and off button is on the end of the unit. I was a bit confused why there was no power at first until I found it. Obviously should have looked at the directions or the box. Highly recommended.

Im what you would say a modern, budget friendly tech guy. I needed something to plug all expensive devices into; TV, Sound System, my 1000w PSU with a 7900xtx, PS5, and wanted protection from unwanted power surges potentially ruining my investments. The length was on point, the flat layout was needed because it's stored in a small area behind my entertainment system and I've read it's quite durable to heat and other elements. The biggest thing for me, coming from a cheap, Walmart power outlet which at the time, suited my needs, was something I could comfortably plug everything into -- including those large adapters that some appliances have. This power strip has a spacious design just for that. There's 6 plugins on the outside that are spaced far enough apart to plug in the bulky A/C adapter outlet plugs. There's 6 running through the center of the power strip for the normal, thin plugins. There's also an additional on and off switch to control the feed of power from the outlet to the power strip which, depending on where it's installed, will save you from having to unplug everything. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 instead of 5 star is I've read their 300,000 warranty coverage for tech damage is near impossible to access when something goes awry. Other than that, for the power savings, close to 4000 joule protection, built quality and thoughtful layout -- it's a 4.5 for me. Overall, if you're looking for quality protection for your expensive assets, this is a must buy. I've done my due diligence and the Belkin seems to be exactly what you want.

I bought this as a replacement to my previous surge protector which had already had its "protected" light go off in less than a year. This surge protector looks hefty and premium in comparison. At the low price, you get a lot of joules and a lot of warranty coverage. It's straight forward to use right out of the box and looks nice in my gaming pc setup. At this price you would think this is a low tier, low quality product but that's not the case here. Good quality surge protectors don't have to cost an arm or leg. To preserve my surge protector I unplug it every time I'm done using my PC. Because no surge protector ensures 100% protection against lightning strikes and it takes less than a minute to unplug it. What happened to my old surge protector was I unplugged the peripherals but left the power strip plugged in so it got destroyed by lightning. So now I flip the switch and unplug it from the wall. It's very nice that the power button is on the side of the strip and easy to flip. The cables are quite thick and bulky which makes it seem even more heavy duty but can get in the way sometimes. The main plug is easy to take off the wall due to it being rounded which is nice. There's more than enough outlets for me to use, but even so I occupied a lot of space with just 4 things plugged in. There's no USB ports on this power strip but that's okay if you have any old power bricks laying around from old phones. I use it to power my mini USB fan. Overall I'm happy with this surge protector and glad I have one that's branded as opposed to an unknown name. Mine will last my years since I will be unplugging it between uses. Which might sound counterintuitive, but there are other power surges besides lightning strikes which is what the box taught me. It gives me the biggest piece of mind when I'm at work while it's storming and I know my stuff are already unplugged from the wall. This surge protector is there for a just in case moment that a surge happens while my PC is plugged in and I didn't expect it.
