V-CUBE4 Black

The puzzle cube comparison site where I heard about this cube stated that this was the very best of the best. "Never locks up, smooth as silk." It was quite the opposite, very expensive, and grinds like something is broken inside. It cost almost three times what an almost identical cube I own cost, and the V Cube only has stickers while my other one has tiles and works far better. Big disappointment all around.

Pricey cube. Not worth the price. Clicks a lot when using. Perhaps in the long run this pricier cube will outlast the cheaper ones. So far not worth the very much increase in price

This cube was very nice right out of the box. It didn't need any adjustments or lubrication. The turning is smooth and easy. Corner cutting is not impressive, but that's not a big deal with me. My two main gripes are with the stickers and the internal mechanism. Many of the stickers were not placed very well, with the edges hanging off the side of the pieces. This caused the stickers to start peeling back from the edges very quickly. I repositioned the stickers to try to avoid this, but the are begining to peel again after about a month. The cube did come with replacement stickers, so it isn't really a huge deal, more of an annoyance. The internal mechanism is a greater problem. For some reason, when turning the outer layers, there is some sort of internal binding that causes it to catch on the middle layer center pieces, sometimes releasing with a loud pop, at other times requiring you to back off the turn and try again. For a puzzle of this price, I expected better quality from the internal workings, which is why this cube only gets 4 stars.

The turns are smooth and it hasn't popped for me yet, but this cube clicks a lot, and doesn't corner very well.

Good cube

The centers click if you are corner cutting with both single and double layer but it doesn't bother me too much. I am not that fast of a speed cuber anyways. If you want it as a decent cube just for solving it a little fast then you should buy. Infinitely tops the Rubik's Revenge 4x4.

It's slightly clicky sounding when you turn it, but don't be alarmed. The "V-cubes" are much better than "Rubik's cubes". I would never buy a Rubik's cube larger than 3x3x3. I think this puzzle is harder than the 5x5x5 in some aspects, good for people who want a challenge.

Nous l'avons offert à notre papa pour son anniversaire, car il s’était remis au 3X3 avec plaisir depuis sa retraite. Ce cadeau lui a fait très plaisir. Ce cube est différent du 3X3 et il a du réapprendre des formules et y a passé un bon moment. Il s'est fait plaisir avec ce 4X4 m'a t-il dit. Prés agréable à utiliser, fluide presque aussi bien que son Dayan en 3X3.Pour info nous lui avions aussi offert le 5X5 de V-cube mais la, très dessus.J’espère avoir pu vous aider dans votre choix.

Ca tourne bien, très fluide.Les stickers ont l'air de vouloir tenir (contrairement au 5x5 de la même marque).Bon produit
