Make Me Say It Again, Girl

This is a great album and I’m glad I bought it on vinyl.

I discovered this album literally just by happening up on it scrolling for new music. I hadn’t heard any promotion about the album or any announcements about it… But I am absolutely pleased with it. It gives you that old school Isley vibe mixed in with some of the new school which is what I think they were going for on this album and they nailed it. The vinyl artwork is absolutely beautiful inner sleeves, high-quality printed inner sleeves with song credits and high quality outer gatefold with additional photos. And…and the most important part…it’s a double album WITH enough material to support a double album (record industry). We see this trend all to often of unnecessary double albums as a money grab. At any rate, I totally recommend this album on vinyl.

MAKE ME SAY IT AGAIN, GIRL was THE BOMB when I first heard it. This collab with Beyonce was EVERYTHING! Then, it became the most OVERPLAYED song on urban radio, and I was too willing to turn the channel when it came on. Moving on, the Isley's solos had that LOVE/SEXY vibe on lock. THEY OWNED THAT LANE! The collaborations, on the other hand, was another type of deal. The collabs with El Debarge, Earth Wind & Fire and Snoop Dogg hit the mark, due to the fact that they had DECADES of music in common, so it was easy to bond with them. The other guests, for me, not so much. In fact, the tracks that was shared with Quavo, Takeoff & Rick Ross sounded like those tracks belonged to THEIR releases, instead of with the Isleys. That, for me, was their weak link. All in all, it was pretty good, and the original version of the title track will ALWAYS be the very best!

All songs are good ,very nice CD , I just don't care for the last song , but all in all very nice CD

The media could not be loaded. The green vinyls are beautiful, and they sound great! What a amazing gift this record is to Isley fans, new and old, all over the world! The album art is fantastic also!!
