This has come definitely come in handy when my 13 year-old lab is navigating the 3 steps down to our yard. It was recommended by a friend who used it with her older dog.

We needed this immediately after receiving it. Our dog had to be sedated for a procedure, and was still "loopy" when he got home. He needed to go down some stairs to get to the outside to go potty, and we were able to use this under his belly to help him down the stairs. It is important to note that, unless your dog is small, you'll need to stabilize him front to back, as this can cause him to tilt forward going down stairs (when loopy) - lesson learned in time! Recommend.

I ordered this for my older lab-pit mix dog who is suffering from hip displacement. We have lots of stairs in our home and the dog struggles to go up and down these days. This device has been extremely helpful in providing a great solution to her mobility problem. I anticipated this decline long ago, so I’ve been looking for something to solve this dilemma. This sling is perfect for medium and large dogs. It’s a good length— I don’t have to do any bending to help lift her hind legs going up the stairs, so there’s no pain or discomfort for me while helping her. I’d highly recommend this product. Very easy to use and easy to clean. It’s also soft and comfortable for the dog’s underside. Perfect solution.

We have a geriatric husky and the handles are too short for me at 5'4". I am hunched over when assisting him. Very uncomfortable.

We ordered this item for an upcoming surgery. Our pup had his hips replaced and needed this item for extra support in climbing stairs. This made his recovery easier and helped with his mobility.

Our German Shepherd (GSD) is 11 years old and having some difficulty with steps on occasion. Both of her back CCLs have already been blown and repaired so we know she has weak hind legs. We bought this sling just in case she needed it. We've tried it out and it seems to work well. We like that it is well padded and doesn't cut into her tummy. She weighs about 80lbs - maybe a little less by now. It's well made and with no straps, we can get it on quickly in case she has a fall. We love her and want to help her any way we can, so having this sling on hand gives us peace of mind.
