Go for it
I use it for storing hot water. Does the job well. water stays hot for 2-3 hours even during heavy snow. Really sturdy, dropped it multiple times, did not have any damage

This little mug keeps my coffee hot for hours!
I appreciate that I can pour my coffee at 6:30 a.m. and it is still piping hot by noon. I actually dropped and broke two others (the lid was open) and had to order a third one because I really liked it that much. I've had no issues with leakage. Just make sure you lock the lid!

Fantastic lasted 2 years keeps hot for hours

I really like it. It keeps my coffee/tea boiling hot fo more than five hours. I dropped the lid and it is still working well and it is not leaking.
