Returned the M-Clip, kept the Tightwad
Overall, the M-clip was a beautiful and solid money clip. I have no issues with the build quality as a whole. It was very weighty and felt and looked like a showpiece. That's where my observations stopped. Quality is usually a priority for me, but this clip felt lacking in function. My biggest gripe is how narrow the clip is and the lack of grip/tension over the surface/contact area. There is a small neoprene pad at the tip that gives a little bit of a grip at smaller loads, but that is primarily where most the hold occurs. My clip mostly just held near the tip resulting in a loose fitment, especially without the 4 cards in the clip. My load was eight bills and four cards. The loose feel of the clip and small contact area was a concern for me and was the reason I returned it.Would I recommend this to someone? Sure, if that person does mind the high cost of entry, wants a quality piece, but doesn't have the best grip due to the weight and narrowness of the clip concentrating all the holding power in one small area. However, M-clip has another product that solves these addressed issues. It lacks in build quality and complexity comparatively (while both were excellent for what it is compared to others on the market), but is an awesome and lightweight design with loads of contact area and grip due to the width of the clip and tension. The patented design also makes it fairly easy to use the clip and allow it to lay flush in the pocket. The product is M-Clip's Tightwad line. I ordered the Stainless steel in silver and liked it enough that I ordered the heftier priced carbon model as well. The Tightwad is lightweight (yes, the stainless steel version) and has a considerable amount of holding power. I can only imagine how lightweight the carbon version will be when I receive it.

Surprisingly good
Absolutely the best money clip I have come upon. Not fancy but I actually like the look and actually holds bills and cards as advertised. I would recommend to my friends.

What you’d expect. Performs nicely. Low profile and tight hold, looks good.
I put it in my back pocket earlier and I’ve been sitting on it all day at work and I totally forgot it was there, which is what I wanted. It’s thin enough where you can’t even feel it unless you really concentrate on it.The tension is fine, not too loose or tight. The part I really like about it is the wide fit it has over the cash. The other reviews that talked about the wideness preventing the cash from crumpling are true. It stays in its shape when it’s folded in half.It looks really good as well. Nice and simple and clean looking. I agree with the other commenters that they would probably sell more units if the words “TIGHTWAD” weren’t written in bold letters on it. The manufacturers need to not take it personally, as if we hate their name, but some people may just not want that word in all caps emblazoned on the side of their money clip for all to see. It would be much more tasteful to just have the logo in a small spot or put the name on the inside or something (or just remove the name altogether). These clips sell themselves with good looks and the patented design, it doesn’t need a big brand name plastered across it. That’s my only problem with it though and it’s not too big of a deal. Very nice.

Nice money clip!
Have used for about 6 months now. Really nice and holds folded money very tightly. Would purchase again.

Good clip
Very lightweight and holds the bills securely. It feels durable, but the edges seem a little rough. If the edges were rounded off, it would be perfect.

nice pressure, works great
Hubby says it keeps a tight hold on his license, card, and cash. Perfect for what is used for!

“Silver” no. “Tin” yes
This product that I received is worth maybe $5; certainly nowhere near $30. It is made of (what looks and feels like) cheap tin and looks nothing like the photo on the Amazon site. I got it today and will be returning it tomorrow.

Easiest money clip I’ve used
Amazing detailed finish, no rough spots or snags. It’s the easiest money clip I’ve had both to insert bills and remove them. It’s not bulky, completely unobtrusive in my pockets.
