These straps do their job just fine, providing your helmet has the appropriate attachment points. My helmet only had one attachment point on each side so I had to punch a hole in the sweatband to attach it properly. Once installed however everything is great. Comfortable to wear, and keeps the helmet where it should be.

While still being able to be easily clipped/unclipped, the buckles feel nicely secure.These are are also well-made from a quality plastic. The chin strap is also easily removable if you prefer wearing a helmet without one. Though, as other reviews notice these be problematic to mount to some helmets.Unless there's a dedicated connection point you'll have to clip it to the helmet liner. Which (unlike helmets with fixed chin to liner connectors) could potentially leave the helmet less securely attached. Though personally for me, that isn't an issue.That's because these straps are absolutely perfect for making cosplay helmets. Yes I are a little bit expensive compared to others, but for the quality and ease of use that's only a minor point.
