This mat is so much better than my old felt one. My cat once launched my old mat along with a half completed puzzle onto the floor. Not a chance of that happening with this one. It really sticks to the table and has a very smooth surface on top, which makes it easy to slide pieces around. That wasn’t possible with the old felt mat. It also ships rolled up instead of folded like some other nonslip mats so there are no creases that need to be flattened out before first use. Very high quality product that rolls up easily. The foam tube that comes with it could be a little bigger in diameter, though. I use the blow up tube from my old mat instead because it is larger in diameter. I also cover the puzzle with the old felt mat before rolling it up to give a little more protection to hopefully keep pieces from moving around and provide some extra thickness.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I loved the texture of the roll and solid tube rather than an inflatable tube. It's really well made and does a great job of protecting my puzzles from kids and pets. I was looking for a nonfelt material.

This is a great solution for those looking to be able to do puzzles in a leisurely fashion, without them taking up the entire tabletop for weeks or months. Easy to roll and unroll. It also keeps the puzzle compact for easy storage. Simple and functional design. Reasonably priced.

It works great! We had company coming so we “rolled up” a puzzle we had been working on and stored it rolled up under a table. It was so easy. When our company left and we rolled out our puzzle to work to continue working on it the puzzle was just it was before. I am thinking of purchasing a second one to use when we travel!

This is the first puzzle mat I have ever purchased and the quality is excellent so I will privy never have to purchase another. I recently had to stop mid way in a puzzle and pack it up. The puzzle rolled easily in the mat and when I took it out again to work on two weeks later, the puzzle was still in tact. The mat can be easily stored. I wish the mat cost less, but I am overall very happy with my purchase. I would buy again.

I am new to solving jig saw puzzles, and this accessory is a must-have. It is my humble opinion that this is the best roll-up matt available. It is shipped rolled up, not folded. The inner roll is solid, firm and is one piece. The neoprene material makes it easy to lay out the puzzle and move pieces around, yet offers the perfect compression when you're rolling it up to keep the puzzle together. Definitely would recommend this item.

26x47 is a good size for working on 1000 piece puzzles. The velcro style strap is in the middle - I would prefer 2 on either side as loose pieces will slide out the sides if turned sideways. Gives off a strong rubber/plastic smell. Othewise a great product with a rubber bottom that won't slide around on a table and provides a nice way to move a puzzle that may take a couple sessions to finish.
