Sunbeam1500W Steam Iron, White/Grey

This is a nice iron for the price. It doesn't heat super fast and the temperature dial is not great but it works well.

This iron glides along the clothes. It does not burn the clothes or get stuck to them like a different brand I had. The steam works excellent and it is the best clothes iron I have ever used.

It is not what I thought it would be a little religious all the time and when you use the steam option at split steam very loudly and scares you so bad that you almost want to drop it. Buy a different one.

I like the heft of the iron,the quality feel of it,how well it irons,and of course the low cost of it.

I bought this to replace an old sunbeam iron that I have purchased several years ago.PRO: Heat up quickly, good weight which helps with pressing and finishing the ironing a lot quicker. It performs as well as my old iron.CONS: It looks like a refurbished iron since there’s trace of water/steam inside and also the refill bucket. It’s also not in an original box. The iron works well overall but the spray water function isn’t ideal, it comes out as a stream of water and you have to keep ironing to get rid of the excess amount. The temperature dial is also a little confusing, you have to guess and get used to it.Overall performance is good if you don’t mind getting an used iron with a great low price.

I ordered this iron to replace my 20 year old one that no longer has a steam function. I don't do as much ironing as I used to, but occasionally need to be able to iron our the wrinkles on various different fabrics. I tried this one out on some synthetics as well as cotton. I am pleased with the temperature control. The steam function works well to help remove wrinkles and it's easy to dump out the water when done. It is lightweight compared with my old iron and easy to store. I'm very happy with this item.

Opening the box, taking the iron out of the plastic bag packaging, I could clearly see blemishes/scratches in the plastic and what appeared to be signs of wear. I just got the sense that this was a used, repackaged, then returned item. That notwithstanding, the iron performs well...not taking long at all to heat and generating tons of steam both automatically and on demand with the trigger under handle. Low, medium, and high settings with a lot of distinct settings/stops in-between. This also has a self-cleaning button which is nice. It would have been nice (and even expected, with all the other nice features) if it had a retractable cord. All said, a decent iron.
