Best filter on the market IMHO.
This is the only aftermarket filter that I will run in my Subaru's. They are well made, don't leak, & are compatible with our cars. They look good, but only have a painted surface, so if you don't have the specific wrench, they can be hard to get a grip on. Overall they are a bit expensive, but I believe they are the best filters on the market which makes them a great value!

If It's a Purolator. It's good.
It's Purolator. There's not much else that needs to be said. Cut open any of the traditional brands out there on the shelf and I promise you the Purolator will visually show it's quality. 20 years ago I so one of those comparisons and I keep up with them given how easy it is with YouTube, and Purolator just makes them right. I've never had any issues.

filters made by the company that founded oil filters
I have used purolator filters for over a decade now. Never let me down. Do your changes regularly at 5-6k miles and you should be fine. These have always been in stock and fairly priced. Love them.

-Product is a good alternative choice to the OEM Blue Fram Subaru filters which have been hard to get for a while, and then Subaru issued their blue lower spec emergency ACDELCO filters. Last i heard they now carry black subaru filters, and I don't know who makes them. Product meets Subaru's bpv spec.-I'm surprised Purolator didn't get a contract with Subaru to make oil filters in the USA. Either way I'm glad these filters work well For my 2020/2021 Forrester and 2022 Outback, the filters are made in USA. It's nice that these filters can last 10k or more, but i do all of my oil changes at the 5-6k range. I bought 1 Boss and 1 Pure One filter on sale. For my usage the Pure One is the best choice.-Other thoughts the price could be lower, and it would be nice to see bulk orders like 6 or 12 pure ones
