Replaced the forks on my bike, went this bearing solution. Old forks did not have sealed bearings like this kit. Super simple installation, 15 minutes. Do yourself the favor when you order this. Also purchase the tool to sink the star nut. You will likely use the star nut not the compression fitting. Once installed and tightened zero play in the head. Easy assembly with my new forks and existing neck and bars. Inexpensive and quality solution. Looks great. Silky smooth bearing action.

Great color selection and sealed bearings makes these ideal for replacing different mountain bike headsets. Price is extremely reasonable.

Bucklos makes some pretty decent components and this headset is no exception. I installed it on a restomod Rockhopper without much fuss. The sealed cartridge bearings took all the slack out of my steering stem so I couldn't be happier. For the components you're getting, is of great value.

The red headset is more of an orange color than it is red. Nice headset with quality fitment and smooth operation. The expander plug works great, just be aware that you may need an extra spacer to adjust neck height for proper cap clearance. While not a deal breaker for me, the color is something to be aware of if your looking for a perfect color scheme, great headset otherwise.

Quailty product and fit my Specialized Pitch mtb

The opened package version I purchased was missing one part, I was able to install the head bearing set without that part, however, it looks like people are still stealing items from packages and then returning them to Amazon. Overall the cups fit nicely and did not take any unnecessary effort to install. The bearings spin smoothly and are a nice upgrade to the bike. The red anodized cups and parts match the color of the anodized parts that were originally installed on the bike which is real nice.

Works well. I can't get overly effusive about a headset kit because its not a very exciting item, but this one works as well as more expensive kits I've bought and gets the job done.

44-56 was perfect for my Polygon Xtrada 6. Bushings/Cups were machined well to accurate size so they fit perfectly on my bike and pressed right in with the Bucklos press+a small amount of marine grease. I'll see how they hold up, but guaranteed they'll be better than the unsealed ball bearing style bearings that were in there before.
