I'm new to this whole espresso machine thing but soon found that the tamper given with the machine just wasn't good enough. This little thing is perfect. Distributes the grounds beautifully then tamps it down evenly. I've had no issues with the coffee since using this.

This tamper has a very premium weight and feels nice in your hand. I was skeptical of the distribution tool but it works great. Using this tool has ensured that even pressure is applied and the coffee is level.

Very sturdy distributor and tamper, and reassuringly heavy. Great fit for a 54mm Sage grinder. Once you've set it to the right level, it's a very reliable tool.

Bought this as I've had a Sage Barista Pro for about 10 months and never really took the time to dial it in. This gets the distribution perfect and makes for consistent coffee. I'm now pulling perfect shots. Highly recommended for any enthusiasts.

Received a Sage Barista Express and obviously have gone completely down the accessories rabbit hole. This along with this other items have been added and I have to say this tamper has made a difference in puck prep ensuring the coffee puck is consistently level, which I just couldn't get using the supplied tamper.As with everything else in puck prep it's all to do with variables so this tamper needs to be adjusted to suit your set up, I have the distribution side left how it came as it's only to level off but I have the tamper side set to a specific distance so this tamps consistently at the same height. But with this I have to ensure I have exactly the right weight of coffee so the tamping pressure is the same. Not enough coffee then less pressure, too much and the puck is too compacted and won't extract. So in a way I still have to learn what is the correct pressure by feel but at least I know the puck is level.Hope this helps

Very well weighted and excellent build quality.This is a combined adjustable tamper and leveller made from 304 grade stainless steel. Highly recommended. The delivery was super quick also.

Excellent. Smooths the coffee out evenly and nicely flat and smooth. Also tamper does the job. Also a nice heavy weight, so don’t drop it on your toes!

Very durable tamper and disrupter, this has got some a surprising weight to it considering the cost, this feels like it could be worth a lot more money. Well worth the price
