These strings are not authentic D'Addario strings. Genuine D'Addario products have unique "Players Circle" codes that can be validated on the D'Addario website. Each packet of strings in both packages have the same players circle code that the D'Addario website would not accept because "it had already been redeemed".

I've been using these for 35 years now on I'd say 20 to 30 different guitars and they're great. They keep their sustain and bright sound for a long time. They start to get a little dull and I clean with a little wd40 and they come right back. The odd thing s that Amazon bugs me all the time to buy more but I don't need them yet
