Expensive but worth it.
Excellent, precision tool. I have already used these tweezers to remove two splinters that were stubborn holdouts. Expensive, but worth it.

Precision Instrument VS Knock of Junk
Reviewed in USA: 28-Dec-2022Regine Switzerland Splinter TweezerFirst, I am a guy, so my perspective may be somewhat different than my wife’s (for whom I purchased these).Over the last year, my wife purchased 3 different pairs of tweezers to shape her eyebrows and “toast” any unwanted facial hair. Each pair lasted about a week before she had suffered enough pain and frustration. Each of the 3 pair went into recycling.I suggested she check out Amazon. She did, and purchased a pair of tweezers she thought sounded good. She paid just under $13.00 for the first pair from Amazon. They were “manufactured by” MILLY and were represented in their item description as being made from “German Stainless Steel “Medical Grade” which an ISO certification.More on the MILLY Tweezers later. The price that she paid was just a bit more expensive that the drug store “precision tweezers”.I thought, I have purchased 4 pairs of tweezers this year with a total cost of around $60.00. Why don’t I see what I can find on Amazon?I found a pair from “REGINE” of Switzerland who sold a pair of Tweezers they (REGINE) made in Switzerland. They claimed this in their description, and showed the packaged product with “Made in Switzerland” printed on the packaging several places.I admit that these tweezers cost roughly $44.00. However, if they worked as advertised, my wife would be able to use them without the pain and frustration, AND I wouldn’t be buying tweezers every quarter. We had each ordered the two tweezers on the same day. As luck would have it, the REGINE tweezers arrived first. Both she and I tried the tweezers and had no trouble grabbing fine White hair (my beard) or her eyebrow hair. I can “hardly” wait to try these out on slivers. We are extremely satisfied with the REGINE Tweezers, and expect to have them for years. We recommend the REGINE product highly.Regarding the MILLY tweezers.MILLY“By MILLY Pointed Tweezers - Hammer Forged 100% German Steel, Point-Tip Precision Tweezers for Ingrown Hair, Eyebrows, Facial Hair, Splinters, Glass Removal - Perfectly Aligned, Hand-Filed - Silver”“Hammer forged from 100% medical grade German stainless steel, ISO 13485 certified”ASIN B07KJL5CVOn the packaging for the MILLY product, nowhere on the packaging or the product referenced “German Stainless Steel”, and the manufacturing location was “Taiwan”.NOTE: From the reference to the use of the “Hammer forged from 100% medical grade German stainless steel, ISO 13485 certified”, I made an unwise assumption.I assumed that the manufacturing was accomplished in Germany. Also there was no reference whatsoever to Taiwan. With the above misleading / to outright deceptive marketing, I wondered if “MILLY” was truly shipping the referenced “German Stainless Steel” to Taiwan, when in 2017 Taiwan produced over 12 million metric tons of steel themselves.Lastly, there was no marking on the tweezers at all.We have shipped the MILLY product back to AMAZON without opening the package.“Let the Buyer Be Aware”

Impressed
Used my new tweezers for the first time, today, in my electrolysis studio and I loved them.

Made for splinters, worked immediately
They pull out splinters, and they do it well 👍. No rust. Sharpened blades. Lots of grip. I've had this dang metal sliver in my thumb for months, and had to fumble with worse options (most were too dull, and in one instance an entire set I bought elsewhere was rusted), that I was done fooling around and bought this instead. Gave it a go immediately when it arrived. These tweezers had immediate purchase on the surrounding skin and on the sliver. It was out in less than five minutes.

A must for anyone who works on metal projects.
These tweezers are ideal for removing metal splinters.

Don’t spend your money on these.
Bought these hoping they would be better than ones in the store that only last a couple weeks then they start to not grab anything. I was wrong. I could have spent $7 at the store for tweezers that would have lasted longer than these. I don’t suggest spending this much money on low quality tweezers. Just go to your local convenience store.

Slightly smaller size than the ones I purchased from a Home Shopping network.
I had purchased a pair of these a couple of years ago, from an online Home Shopping network. They were absolutely AWESOME. I had then given those to my parents (who had said they needed to buy a new pair)... but then I was looking for a replacement. I thought these would be the very same but, unfortunately, they are not. They are ever so slightly smaller and, with just a little bit of pressure on these, they bend ever so slightly near the head. They are still good but, not quite as great as that slightly larger pair... enough so that I'm still considering maybe giving these away and re-purchasing from that other place, again.
