*3-4 dents, few on front. Wasn't able to replace due to out of stock. Applied stickers for now * Spacious, durable enough *Cooling is good *5 modes are useful although didn't try yet *Looks classy *Vegetable box is very big Don't unbox yourself. Wait for Samsung service engineer to unbox it, so that they could compensate for dents. After 6 months: * In winters I turned my freezer off, which was really helpful in saving money. * Power freeze i remember cools freezer fast but I couldn't make icecream in an hour. It takes some time. * Shockproof sides. * Too cool, in May I have set fridge at 5°C which is 2nd last option, and still fridge is cool enough. * In winters even at last temp setting, fridge was so cool that humidity was settling on shelves and steel bowls were sliding when you try to touch them. I followed manual and reduced number of items stored, ensured spaces between items and ensured no item covers air flow vents. Now it's better. * In powercuts of 4-5 hours, fridge still remains cool enough. After a year: * No issues in operation. Freezer is good. Cooling is good in all areas. No water leakage. Our LG one started leaking in just one year, possibly due to a bit sloped ground. * The modes are not too useful for us :P We tried Power freeze but it isn't that fast. Atleast 2 hours required to make kulfi. * I don't like the hidden handle design. The angle is not easy to grasp when in hurry. So the elderly have developed habit to open/close door by grabbing corner edge. Sometimes finger or part of palm gets in between door while closing. Also it's a bit hassle to clean the handle properly from inside, fridge body also gets dirty easily with fingerprints or water marks or oily hands. * I think we have been having some electricity bill savings after getting this fridge (not too significant but still even 100 rs saving per month is good)

Research is a most important aspect while investing a big amount. I researched well, compared it with other models, both online and in stores, and finally came upon conclusion to buy it. You get nice set of features, including large space, removable ice tray, control panel on the outside, convertible modes, power freeze, power cool etc. Review is after approx 1.5 years of usage. 🎁 INSIDE BOX ••••••••••••••••••• 1x refrigerator 1x ice tray 4x glass shelves 1x vegetable box 1x User manual ➕ PROS •••••••••••• 1. Works silently and is a 3 star device. So expect power consumption as per 3 star BEE rating. It hasn't impacted my electricity bills much. 2. You get plenty of storage, with 3 glass shelves, one glass shelf/lid for vegetable container, some pockets for bottles and other items along with 2 dedicated egg baskets on door, etc. 3. It has a door alarm which is a wonderful feature in my opinion. It reminds us if door is left open for more than 2 minutes. Especially when we miss to close it completely or left open accidentally (happens quite a lot). 4. Movable ice maker to adjust space as per desire, or to remove it completely if not needed 5. Convertible mode may prove helpful to many, for energy saving or customizing compartments on need basis. Like when on vacation, you could switch off refrigerator if nothings left, and keep only freezer on, or when only a single member at home, use freezer as mini refrigerator and switch off bigger refrigerator if you have nothing to freeze. ➖ CONS •••••••••••• 1. I personally feel that LED position is a bit off and should have been on the back, or both top and lower back. If fridge is full then with the current arrangement, light won't reach the bottom zones. Those zones are dark and make it difficult to find items there. 2. I would prefer light in the freezer as well (not we have cool LED lights available, as opposed to previous gen warm bulbs), but then its something which every manufacturer avoids, considering minimal utility (#of opening refrigerator door vs freezer). Here the cons are personal preferences/observations and not something which are product issues per se. ☑ FEATURES & OPERATION ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 1. Convertible mode include 5 combos (upper compartment + lower compartment): Freezer + Refrigerator Refrigerator + Refrigerator Freezer off + Refrigerator Freezer + Refrigerator off Freezer acting as refrigerator + refrigerator off 2. Left button is used to set freezer temperature (-23°C to -19°C) 3. Right button is used to set refrigerator temperature (1°C to 7°C) and to set it to vacation mode (off) 4. Middle button is used to toggle freezer (on/refrigerator mode/off) 5. Power freeze (press left button for 3 sec) 6. Power cool (press right button for 3 sec) ❔ WHY DOUBLE DOOR ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Double door works good, but comes with a cost. With single door & same capacity you get more space & generally in normal household we dont have many items to be kept in upper ice zone. So that space is kind of wasted. But still its better to settle for double door if cost is not a constraint, as it better organizes content & is efficient. For e.g. if you want ice, you dont need to expose everything to outer environment, which increases temperature & thereby increases load on compressor. Just open upper freezer door and have your ice. Other reason to get double door is it works on forced convection with fans installed for cold air circulation, instead of natural forced convection in single door. In my view its far more efficient for uniform cooling inside. Also, it eliminates need for defrosting freezer chamber (frosting still happens in single door models). ✍ FINAL VERDICT •••••••••••••••••••••••• It is a recommended product for the capacity and useful features (not the gimmicks).

Bought in Oct 2020 for 31990 Overall the refrigerator is worth the cost and I would highly recommend for this for generic/rough home use. Today at Jan 18 2026 the cooling gas seems empty which is expected after so long years. So go for it of you are planning to take up this.

Don't get me wrong. The overall rating given includes the delivery experience too. Product wise, Samsung deserves a 3/5 in rating. Samsung provides great and unique features in this product segment however there are some negatives. Pros: - Dual cooling zone. - Flexibility in usability with convertible modes. - Deodorizer filter. - Unique and good ice tray design for easy retrieval. - Energy efficient (supposedly from BEE rating). - Temperature adjustable (manual) with indicators (for further improving the efficiency in various climates). Cons: - Lack of chiller tray. - Vegetable box should have been smaller to accommodate more usable space elsewhere. - Door will thud open as the fridge stands slanted towards back with its original design. - Poor product packaging. - Not so good build quality (Refer the image attached). Poor delivery experience by Amazon's delivery partner. They didn't stick to the specifically scheduled delivery date and also transported it outside a passenger rickshaw tying it unsafely to its back. A rain could have easily spoiled the whole product. Product is dinged at various places on the side panel. Not all delivery experiences from the product review seemed bad but some did seem similar and even worse to mine. Therefore, didn't try my luck with a replacement as it could end up the same.

Writing this review after 8 months of the purchase. Before purchase I checked offline and online, and I found a huge discounted rate if I purchase from online. But I had a doubt in my mind that if I get any damaged product by chance then it will be a big problem. So I called and raised my doubt to Customer Care of Amazon, and they confirmed that I can check and then I can accept the product, and if I found any dent or any other issue I can refuse to accept the product. So I checked every corner from top to bottom and I was lucky not to receive any damaged product. Now the product is good, really good. Although it is not super silent, but it is not loud either. Every other reviewer covers every Pros and Cons, I just want to add 1 point which is, if you are looking for a refrigerator which you can lock the door from your little monster in your home then this is not your product. But if you need a good refrigerator with a big Brand name, useful features then certainly you can trust Samsung and Amazon duo. Thank you Amazon, Samsung for this wonderful purchasing experience.

Sharing the review after 1 month of using. 1. previously had single door which was congested, now the storage space is huge and its a best fit for my family. 2. there are various options to select the levels and temperature setting for both freezer and fridge. 3. there is no huge difference in the power savings, its same when i checked the bill. 4. works on inverter as well when power is off which is quit good. 5. frezer space is huge and it can fit more than 5-6 ltrs of milk in top and bottom also there is huge space left. 6. only issue I had is with the delivery and exchange, unprofessional delivery persons and the they try to deny the exchange an told the value is just 500-1000 for single door LG fridge later took some extra money to pick the old fridge. 7. installation was on time and he was professional, but didnt have much patience to explain in detail. 8. overall fridge is good and best fit for family of 4+ people.

Great product by Samsung. Thanks to Amazon and Cloudtail for perfect, on time delivery without a single scratch on the product. The only downside was the Samsung Installation Support, took 3 days for installation, and it becomes a big problem if you are exchanging your old refrigerator. Got it delivered on Sunday (early morning), so service centre was closed, Monday the installation request got cancelled, raised it again however got assigned to the engineer around 4pm, so he called and said he is already having heavy load and will try to come over that evening. However, the engineer arrived the next day i.e. Tuesday that too after making a couple of calls in the morning. Thanks to our neighbours, we were able to manage to store some frozen stuff at their place. Samsung, please review on such third party installation centers. Coming to the product. Samsung has done a great job on Convertible Refrigerators. 5in1 convertible along with memory retaining of the mode after power cut, makes these refrigerators the best. Also, I have been using Samsung refrigerator since past 10 years, and the difference that I felt was the refrigerators now have very slim sides. Therefore the volume inside the refrigerator is great yet it looks smaller from outside and consumes less space. Got great discounts (~7-8K) during Great Indian Sale. All in all a great refrigerator!! Worth buying.
