OMG, we have 3 of these and love them. They keep our dogs out of areas we don't want them in at night or when we're not home. When not in use they go out of sight and take up very little space. Easy to install. They look nice. They're sturdy, easy to use and roll back into their tube automatically. Even our long one, about 5ft, is strong and sturdy. Dog and toddler friendly. No sharp parts to hurt anyone.

Great product! Easy install, locks in place ! I have a doublewide stair on my home which is very close to the road. I was worried my little dig would run out to greet a neighbor . No more worries.

I would like to give this 5 stars but I feel that I cannot due to the retractability. I have had a few times that the gate will automatically lock and thus I’m unable to close it. Other than that, I absolutely love this gate! It is our second one, as our dogs ended up destroying the old one from jumping over it during thunderstorms. If this one goes, I would absolutely be purchasing another! And always looking for a deal prior to purchasing!

Wife and I love them. We have 2 to keep the dogs out of the kitchen when we want to. One of the dogs is a counter surfer and can reach all the way to the back. Quality appears to be good.

We have a large arch connecting our kitchen and living room. We got this to keep the dog in our kitchen when it’s snowy or rainy because we don’t want her damp paws on the carpet or couch. It’s perfect! Especially because we didn’t want something that was up 24/7 that we had to walk around. This goes up when we need it to and down when we don’t! Only thing is it’s obviously just fabric vs metal gate, so if your dog is one to jump on gates, probably not for you

Great for decks too

I am absolutely furious. I spent HOURS of my time that I could have spent with my small children, trying to install this piece of garbage. Not only are the anchors EXTREMELY flimsy, the holes on the plastic hardware aren’t large enough for the screws to lay flat against is so you have to put all of your body weight against the drill to try to get the screw as far into the plastic as you can JUST to get the clips to clip on. And THEN, when you DO finally do that, the brackets don’t hold onto the clip, it just falls RIGHT off. I’m so beyond angry because this is NOT cheap but it IS cheaply MADE. So I now have to CONTINUE to find a safe way to contain my babies from accessing the kitchen and back door. This is a JOKE of a product. I bought a very similar product months ago from a different brand that worked AMAZINGLY for a smaller opening and that company unfortunately doesn’t make larger retractable gates so I was forced into buying this TRASH

The gate works well, except my shutout can push the bottom in and slide under. I installed it all the way to the floor and he can still get under it.
