Sure enough, the rubber strip running through the shoulder strap was protruding out the end where it's sewn to the back strap. The stitching around it looked somewhat sloppy. Cutting the rubber down so that it no longer poked my wife's back was a task that required no small amount of dexterity. But once done she found the suit as comfortable as one might expect. Granted, this is a bikini that's considerably more cheeky than most midwestern women such as her will wear in public, but for our private outing it was perfectly appropriate. The cover-up is a flirty addition, but hardly adds any modesty (the TRULY daring might repurpose it as a top).Though the top's lovely brass ring might appear to some as a convenient handle for speedy removal, our tests revealed no such function.It's not the best, but if you like the way it looks, it's price makes it accessible to try.
