This worked just as described. It's easy when you have the right tool for the job.

Super convenient and time consuming

Did the job, i like that it encourages compression slowly. It also comes with a torque bit in it to use a power tool.

In the past, I've always used a clamp or pliers, or whatever, but this is the first time it's been my son's car, so I wanted to make sure nothing got messed up. This tool actually makes things really easy - and I was concerned that I would strip the handle like others said, but i did not. So it's going to be good for at LEAST one more brake job.

Love it, if only I had seen these years ago. I wouldn't be feeling as crazy & idiotic for the ideas/and things we come up with, to "try" & do what this beautiful thang does so well.

Inexpensive and works just fine

Just did a break pad changed last weekend. I bough this a few months ago, just had the time to use it. Work as intended and the quality was pretty sturdy. I don't think I would ever need another tool but this. Perfect.

Pretty basic and works as it should. Don't see why it would break under normal use and much easier than a c-clamp.
