I bought this for a younger friend who loves turtles and didn't know what a sweater clip was. She was delighted! It is light weight but isn't "cheap looking". The detail on the turtles is lovely. You can use it with or without the chain. It can be a collar clip as well as a "broach" or a sweater clip. Very versatile design. Arrived very quickly.

I wanted to love these. I love turtles and these were just as adorable as pictured, however they are not a true collar chain. If you are just looking for two turtle pins, this is great. They seemed sturdy and were a curved piece of metal, so they wouldn't be too heavy or weigh down a garment, but the chain itself was in no way connected to the pin. It states "removable chain", but the collar chains I have that are "removable" in somehow latch on so the chain doesn't fall apart when undone. On this, the pin tac just went through one of the links in the chain, but if the back of the pin came off (as it did when I was trying it), the chain falls too, so it essentially separates into multiple pieces. I have a bunch of collar chains as I enjoy them on button ups or to hold a cardigan in place when it is draped over my shoulders. This isn't a collar chain. Perhaps the description of "tie tack" or "scatter pin" alone would be less misleading.
