Justinguitar Beginner's Songbook: 100 Classic Songs Specially Arranged for Beginner Guitarists with Performance Tips

Positives? There are a lot of well known songs here. Negative? This book does not have sheet music, or TAB for any of the songs , just the lyrics with letters indicting which cords to play floating over them. And only usually over the first verse and chorus. I imagine you could write in the cords over the other verses (they do repeat in most songs after all). You could write your own TAB using the cords, , or draw lines in to indicate the measures . This is a book of guitar exercises based around simplified popular songs, rather than the actual music for the songs. If that’s what your after I suppose tho book may be for you.

At first glance I thought this was too advanced for my beginner daughter and she didn't recognise a lot of the songs. But as we went through it and listened to a lot of them on spotify she knew more of them than she thought. The fact that the author does YouTube tutorials on keys and strumming (which is why I purchased it) has been brilliant. Her school tuition has stopped because of Covid so she's been practicing and learning the cords from Justins videos. She says he makes it really clear. Great range of songs, organised in levels. Highly recommend it.

Clear, easy to read instruction. A fabulous variety of songs to learn. Although it is a perfect accompaniment to the online lessons created by the author, Justin Sandercoe, it can be used as a stand-alone teaching aid​. Justin really is the best guitar teacher for those who prefer the self-teaching method. I am having a wonderful time using his lessons to learn. I have learned to play a simple 3 chord melody in just over a week.

An excellent songbook which gradually increases the difficulty of the guitar playing.The failure to achieve 5 stars was due to the binding which would have been far better with a spiral binding as the Beginners Course Guitar.

After watching a fair few videos of Justin on his site and youtube. I found his teaching methods easy to understand and helped me alot so decided to buy the book and is just as easy to understand as the videos and has a good variety of songs in it with notes and fact of the songs too!!.. ranging from begininers stuff to advance players Awsome Book :)
