Vegetable Glycerin from 'Now Foods', 16 Fl-Ounces (Pack of 2)This is an excellent product, especially for dryness of the skin.This is how I use it:If you add (just a little bit) of an emulsifier like Keri or Lubriderm lotion and shake to mix it well, it would be ready to blend with water.Once the emulsifier is added, you can apply it on your WET body, giving time for the water to evaporate and you will be protected against dryness, especially on very cold winter time.Make sure there is enough water to dilute the glycerin, so you don't feel greasy afterwards.Also, the Shipping was fast.Judy

I am very slow at completing this review as I have been recovering from two major surgeries. I was introduced to this oil by my physical therapist after I had undergone knee replacement surgery. She would use it to massage my knees to help break up the underlying sutures as well as to moisturize the skin. This is a 100% vegetable product, does not stain clothing, and is a very effective skin moisturizer. It has not irritated my very sensitive skin. This product was shipped by Amazon and was packaged poorly. The bottles were not put into a plastic bag, but rather just thrown into the box along with the other items in my shipment. The plastic the caps are made out of is quite brittle, and both caps broke during shipment and a piece of the hard plastic that had sharp edges completely tore the foil seals over the openings. This had to have occurred on the Amazon delivery truck as not much oil had had time to leak out of the bottles fortunately. However, enough had leaked that everything else in my shipment was covered with the oil which was beginning to soak through the box. There was nothing in that shipment that could not be salvaged thank goodness. In the meantime, I have two bottles with the opening covered by duct tape. If the manufacturer reads this and is able to send two replacement caps for these two bottles, it would be much appreciated.

This was the best deal on high quality (100% vegetable) glycerine for use in freezing yeast slurry aliquots for longer term storage. Use about 25-30% glycerine that's been boiled for sanitation, then cooled. Add the remaining volume of thick yeast slurry that's been chilled in the fridge for ~48 hours. Freeze immediately.Its best to make relatively small aliquots, (anywhere from 5-50ml total volume) in order to have multiple samples of a given yeast variety for future use. Of course, due to low cell count in these aliquots, you'll need to reanimate in a proper yeast starter, stepping it up 1-2 times to have an adequate pitching rate.

This product makes my hair really soft. However, it it sticky to the touch and also sticky in your hair. I mix it with 3 parts water and it is still sticky. Since I use it everyday, I just plan to wash my hair more frequently due to the buildup.

I use this product alone or mixed with other ingredients (i.e. shea butter, nettle, and a fragrance oil) in my hair to keep it moisturized. I live in the desert so it can be a challenge to retain healthy hair but this product has been key for me in doing so! The price is wonderful and the product is even better!

I’m in love with this brand & product. The product itself works great and leaves your skin smooth. I used it as an additional drop for my pregnant belly to keep those stretch marks away while my belly expands. My belly gains extra moisture and leaves it smooth when dry.I’ve also added it as extra moisturizer when I put lotion for all over body. Keeps my hands and feet nicely moisturized.

You have to know what you're doing when using this stuff. I had some shipped to me while living in Korea because I heard it was good at retaining moisture. It does hoid moisture, but I could never get the right mixture with water so it ended up being too sticky or making my hair too moist. I'll try it again summer 2014 once I figure out what else to mix it with.

This is a nice glycerine and comes in plastic bottle. I use it in my diy vitamic c serum and one bottle of it lasted me about two years. It is a good quality vegetable glycerine and it does its job of retaining moisture properly. I gave another bottle to my mom and she liked it.
