Disney Hyperion Fairest of All: A Villains Graphic Novel

I love the original books in this series and was super excited to see a graphic novel series coming out! I do wish the color scheme was better as it's a bit abrasive visually with the bright green but I still think it's a wonderful story and a great addition to my villians collection.

Couldn't wait for the book to arrive to finally see the odd sisters depicted. And Fiona Marchbank illustrated them so lovely!Are there more graphic novels to the other stories of the Disney Villains series to be expected?

I end up buying this book because it’s part of the collection series that I’m reading and it was the only one that I’m missing at the moment. I haven’t read it yet but I love the series . So,I’m pretty sure ill love this book too.

A strikingly stark Disney Graphic Novel. It's both surprising and admirable to see Disney commit to a publication with such stark and rather 'severe' visuals. However once the eye got accustomed to the lack of lushness, I found it to be a complimentary storytelling-visual choice. This is no warm-fuzzy tale. The Queen's emotional state isn't the rosiest -even at her happiest before she succumbs to her evil impulses- so the limited color-palette feels like an integral choice. As a fan of the original novel, I was pleasantly surprised to see that everything I recalled- down to the spookiest images inspired by the Queen's fever-dream hallucinations - were present. Well done and worth exploring.

Ordered this for my daughters 12th birthday. I normally read books before I give them to her. I’ve already read this whole series, then I saw the illustrated version! It’s decked out like a comic in the colors of the Evil Queen and she’s enthralled with it! Great job!
