I’m not used to wearing braids but decided to get them in this Houston heat. I was concerned with keeping my scalp clean. My stylist recommended and I love this product. Easy to use, smells great and the cool feel to my scalp was so soothing.

This stuff is what's up! 👍🏾 I hate smelly, sweaty hair & scalp! No matter if I'm wearing my own natural hair, or if I'm wearing extensions along with my natural hair. Every week- once a week I will re-tighten, & redo my twists/braids (my extensions are always 18 inches or 26 inches long). Sometimes I'd let it go for 2 weeks straight, maybe even 2 weeks & a half depending on how I feel, & if it was a sweaty/rough week or not. I usually use a spray dry shampoo on my scalp & extension hair. Now, I use this product for my roots, hair, & scalp & then use the spray dry shampoo, only on the ends of my braids (the fake hair). This stuff is AMAZING! Because it quickly- dissolves the grease, residue, grime, grit, & dirt in your hair, & it does it- without drying your hair out at the same time. After you use it, your hair actually FEELS CLEAN, SMELLS FRESH, & is SOFT to the touch. So I'm glad I found this product, I'll be using it through the entire summer 👍🏾. My only draw back is that it's only 4 ounces 😫, so it uses up pretty fast. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I use it also when I'm randomly doing my fuzzy/loose braids over (not the full head), & finally this stuff is absolutely AMAZING when you're taking your braids, twists, or faux locs out. Just be sure to have a large tooth comb on stand by. Wonderful product, just wished it came in a larger size. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Love this product. To the people that said the bottle is too small. I think they just used way too much. I’ve had my braids in for five weeks and I have used this I think three times now and I still have half the bottle.

I wear protective styles all the time mostly soft locs. I keep my scalp piled and I apply edge control daily. I get build up sometimes and my scalp can get little oily and itchy… I bought this and loved it instantly! Makes your scalp super tingly and removes build up and really refreshes the scalp. I received my first bottle last week and I’m already ordering another. The bottle you receive is pretty small but so far so good

This is the second time ordering this product, it works well and does what it says. I only wish that the bottle was more than 4 Oz.

I highly recommend this gel shampoo, especially if you're wearing braid installs. It cleaned my scalp effectively and left no residue or weird odors afterwards. Just make sure you follow the instructions. It smells strongly of lemongrass, which I love, but the scent fades to a light and pleasant scent as your hair dries.
