LazyStepMen's Loafer Slippers with Memory Foam and Indoor Outdoor House Shoes

This is the second pair of these slippers I've owned. I only replaced the first pair due to the insole foam breaking down over time from wear. These slippers are very comfortable and warm. They fit well. I like the hard outer sole that permits me to step outside and not ruin the slippers. I machine wash them occasionally and they hold up well.

So far, so good with these slippers. They are as advertised. The sizing can be a bit tricky, not being the same size fit as athletic shoes. I normally wear 11 1/2 for my 11 1/4 feet, wide. The 10.5 fit my feet perfectly, and the 11-12 size fit too, just a little extra space for the toes. They DO fit my wide feet fine. I also bought a pair for my father, the 8.5 size (he wears a 9 1/2 sneaker), and they fit his non-wide feet perfectly.They are very comfortable. Not too warm, but not breathable. There is no way to make a breathable shoe that is waterproof too. They are easy to put on and easy to take off. As for durability, I will need to wait and see if they hold up after much use and washings.They are indoor and outdoor, but I'd suggest not wearing outside on gravel and rocky soil very often. I have worn them to the store, driven wearing them, and they are fine for that. No arch support, but they are only slippers, not sneakers. I would not recommend wearing them for long walks if you require arch support.I recommend them. My 90-year-old father likes them. That is about as good as it gets.

The shoe company, Skechers, has a great system they call Slip-Ins where you don’t need a shoehorn or to bend down to put on your shoes.I mentioned that simply as a means of comparing the brand name sneaker to these. As I’ve written previously, when you walk outside with these slippers, you’d be amazed by how much dirt and debt you bring into your home.If Skechers made a nice pair of sneakers with the Slip-In design, I’d purchase them in a minute!Don’t get me wrong as These are very nice cushioned slippers. Insole is nice and soft but not the cushioning you were hoping for.I accidentally found a great way to clean these slippers very easily; I was doing a laundry at the time and decided to give it a try and threw in both sneakers. I figured I had nothing to lose because if placing them in with the washing machine destroyed them, I could purchase another inexpensive pairsI was shocked! After I pulled them out of the dryer (low heat) I found a pair of slippers that looked brand new. I honestly don’t know how many washing and drying cycles these slippers can go through without getting destroyed. When I find out I will update this review.

These shoes were everything I had hoped for. They are comfortable, warm and good looking. I wear them as a house slipper.

These are soft and warm with some cushioning but after standing in them for a few minutes it feels like I’m standing on bare ground. The insole sinks down to the sole and it’s not comfortable. Not to mention they’re kinda hard to walk in.

Purchased these on a whim because I need replacement slippers. For reference I'm a 5"7 138lb male who is not a big guy or a little guy, keep this in mind for my comments.Pros. Looks nice, faux fur lining for warmth and comfort, design and material for the upper layers (not the inserts or soles)Cons. No support, insoles squash down to the bottom because the memory foam isn't firm enough, it just sinks (keep in mind my above physique), soles are slippery and have no grip. The soles are that cheap plastic rubber doesn't feel like actual rubber....so not ideal for hardwood/laminated or vinyl flooring, listed length is 7-8 (I wear a 7.5 US mens) and the size leaves about 1inch+ on the tip by my toes and doesn't feel right in terms of length. Like clown shoes on me.I wanted to like these, but just more cons than pros to keep them. Will return asap. Disappointed iny purchase.
