It's been very useful for me, and I've had it for over a month already. I still have some wooden cotton q-tips on hand in case I really need them, but the reusable ones have been great so far!

This was a game changer! For makeup purposes, I find it to be better than a regular cotton swab. My only observation is that it is not absorbant (like not at all), so if that's something important to you in a makeup swab, it might not be the best option.

I like that it's about the same size as a q-tip, and it does seem to work, for the most part. But the feel of it isn't quite the same as a regular q-tip, and since the tip isn't made from cotton, it doesn't seem to absorb moisture quite as well. I think it will take some getting used to, but it's definitely less wasteful.

Yes I’d love to be eco, but it’s not quite doing what it suggests. First of all I realize a big part of q-tips for me is absorbency, being silicone doesn’t do the job to replace cotton swabs. Secondly when I use it for makeup it’s very hard to get the product off from the swab to re-use it again, and the process often requires lots of oil/soap/water and I don’t feel so eco about it. The silicone has a seam on the side of the swabs itself and I really feel like I need to clean them well to prevent bacterias, hence more water needed = not so eco? I’m not sure anymore, great tipped shape though.

From reviews here and on youtube, I knew this wasn't absorbing. I bought it with intention to stop using disposable Q-tips, and to drape a thin piece of absorbant cotton (a dish towel, or Moroccoan style bath/beach towel) and use in ears. It has worked flawlessly for me. I hold the cotton and Q-tip a bit below base of the head of the Q-tip so as not to go too deep in the ear. The stem seems sturdy, ut I've only had it about a month or two; using it daily. I like to travel light, so for me, the case is massive for the size of the Q-tip;when I travel with it, I intend to house it in something else.

I spent 11$ on this Q-tip for it too not do what I purchased it for! It doesn’t wipe off extra mascara i get on me !

I love the idea of having less impact on the environment. I use cotton swabs every day for my makeup, the ones with a paper shaft not plastic for obvious reasons. Was really in love with the idea of a reusable one! IT DID NOT WORK. At all. Seemed to be made of a rubber like material. Too smooth and non absorbent. I use them, among other things to put a clean edge to my eyeliner and all this did was smear it, it didn't pick anything up. Couldn't use it for cleaning, even ears, all it does is smear things around. Very disappointed!!!

Two thumbs up. I bought it because it was a cute color, not realizing there are different types. This one is totally smooth, no bumps. But it does what it says!

As someone who has been trying to make the switch to more eco-friendly products for years, I was so excited to come across this product. I go through1-2 cotton swabs a day, mostly for removing makeup and cleaning my ears. While I love the idea of having a reusable swab, this was not good enough to replace a cotton swab. The silicone is relatively soft but not good at effectively removing eye makeup and ear goop. I would estimate it works at ~20% effectiveness of a regular swab. Maybe it'll work for 20% of cases, but you'll still have to keep buying cotton swabs for most needs so to me, it wasn't worth the hassle of washing this everyday. On the other hand, reusable cotton makeup pads are great and an amazing replacement for the disposable cotton pads -- I expected this reusable swab to be similar but that was not the case.

Piccolo e utile . L’ho preso principalmente per il trucco e per applicare una lozione evitando di sprecare mille Cotton fioc .

L'ho comprato sperando di sostituire i cotton fioc usa e getta che uso per correggere le sbavature di eyeliner, matita e mascara, ma purtroppo a questo scopo non lo trovo efficace. Non assorbendo le sbavature per via del materiale non poroso, le rimuove poco e male. Alla fine gli ho trovato un migliore utilizzo nelle pulizie della casa, per rimuovere sporco e polvere da fessure o oggetti molto piccoli per i quali pure utilizzavo i cotton fioc tradizionali che però spesso si spezzavano, mentre questo è più resistente.

Ich liebe diese Stäbchen. Leider ist mein altes nach langer und täglicher Benutzung gebrochen, deshalb musste ein neues her. Ich wickele ein Abschminktuch um die Spitze und korrigiere so die Patzer, die beim Wimpern tuschen entsehen :-)
