The sharkbite connector is a great alternative to sweating copper connections
It worked well for my standard sized 1/2” copper pipe. I am very happy with the product since I did not have to “sweat” any joints under my kitchen cabinet. Very easy to install. I really like your product.

Perfect fittings for our shower remodel!
We just remodeled our shower and decided to use PEX-B for the shower fixture plumbing. Our old pipes are 1/2" copper, so we decided to use Sharkbite Max connectors to go from the old copper to the new PEX tubing. Even though we have an access panel behind our fixture wall, I decided to move the transition point down below the flooring (we have a basement and it's easy to get to the fittings). I decided if there were ever going to be leaks, it's better they happen underneath the new subfloor rather than above it. And this reduced the potential leak points above the subfloor. If you don't have access panels or can't get to your fittings after your project is finished, you might want to consider something other than Sharkbite / Push-to-connect fittings. But since we have access (and since I might eventually take out all the copper plumbing and replace with PEX), these were perfect for us. We chose the Sharkbite MAX connectors so we could maximize water pressure and flow.

Easy to use, no leaks, easy to remove, and they last! Highly recommend!
The easiest way to repair pipes!!I've done copper pipe repair using the soldering method, and while that's probably the more 'accepted' and 'professional' way to do it, sometimes you need a quick fix that you can rely on. These have never let me down in a pinch, and have held up longer than I expected, so if it works, I'm happy!Installation is a breeze, just make sure the pipe is clean. My recent installation was to remove some excess piping that was unnecessary (the previous owner wrapped 1/4" hot line around a basement wood stove - definitely not code). I cut out all the excess line and use a couple of these to connect up the ends. All of my pipe was coated with a fire retarding material due to the wood stove in the basement, so it had to be cleaned well. But once cleaned, these were easy to install and provided a leak free connection. I also removed sprinkler heads that had been installed for the wood stove as well (I removed the wood stove too - it was a home build one and wasn't safe).I've taken these off using an adjustable wrench to push in the decoupling piece and they come off pretty easily. You might have to use a bit of force because they do dig into the pipe, but I've never run into an issue removing one. You can also get the removal tool which works just as good as a nice adjustable wrench. These are great to keep around as extras too, just in case you have an emergency and need a quick fix.The fit on the pipe is always nice, and they're super easy to use as long as you properly prepare the copper pipe you're putting them on (deburr inside and outside and clean the outside of the pipe where the o-ring will seal).Overall, I love these and haven't had any issues with this batch or previous batches leaking, so I'd recommend them.

Best DYI solution for plumbing repairs
Sharkbite and PEX is the best DYI way to go for replacing plumbing up in the rafters with limited space and nearby electric wiring. Very easy to install, definite time saver. Connectors allow easy dis-assemble, with unique tool, to correct errors in measuring/cutting/design. A plumbing upgrade to copper (probably 60+ years ago) left just this one area (seen in photo) with 4" sections of original galvanized pipe and fittings on the water supplies to a 1/2 bath; internal corrosion built up to finally blocked the cold water supply. Had no leakage anywhere when turning the water back on after the install. Now, that I got my feet wet (not literally), the hot water supply will be next.
