I love this shirt”s quality and style. There is however, a few strands of thread that snagged around the buttons that I had to cut off, but other than that, the size is true to size. And very culturally authentic feel. I got the large size (I’m 5’9” wt: 190lbs) somewhat athletic build around the shoulders so the armpit sleeve area was a tad tight but not restrictive. Very happy with my Mexican dress wear! I’ll be looking into trying the black version soon!

I was looking for a shirt for my husband to wear to a "Fiesta Party" without it being too over the top. This shirt is perfect. The piping is vibrant and the shirt is well made. He's a mall gentleman; 5'8", 150 lbs., so he typically wears a size small. But, considering the shirt is 100% cotton, I didn't want it to shrink after washing so I ordered a medium, which I'm glad I did because the shirt fits perfectly. If I had ordered a small, it would have been too tight. So, in my opinion, the shirt runs a little small so you might want to size up.

Lovely shirts, and they fit as advertised. I have purchased a few colors now. Very consistent.

Make sure you get 1 size bigger my large felt like a medium
