Can you fit a piece of construction paper on tray

No they are just little to small for a piece of construction paper.

Can these be washed in the dishwasher?

I washed them by hand since nothing was posted. Used for school projects

Would these trays be suitable to use with play doh?

I would think so. They are nice sturdy little trays I gave to my 6 year old granddaughter for her art supplies. She likes them. Hope this helps.
