Supplies constant current/voltage. It’s a good size to see the display well, and also small enough to use in a tight space. Has an on/off function for the current/volts so you can switch the supply off/on without turning the unit off - very useful feature.

The supplied output cables are ok for a couple of amps, more than that, use thicker ones. Not an issue.Otherwise it ticks all the boxes I need for work.

Super easy to use great control over amps/voltage

I use this for HAM / PMR / CB radio, to replace a previous PSU whose fan was always on, which ironically caused radio interference. By comparison, this is a total gem, not noisy in either audio nor radio terms.

I used it shock myself until the face of god showed up in my kitchen. Well, that's not what I intended to do, but it's what I did. Anyway, worked good.

Perfect for a small workshop, this variable power supply is ideal for small projects and ticks all the boxes I need.

At first, I did not know whether I'd be happy with setting each voltage digit separately, or with powering the unit with yet another switch for enabling power to the banana jacks.Well, setting the voltage is fast enough, and monitoring current and wattage has been a breeze, thanks to the quite accurate wattage display. (Volts x Amps = watts). Anyhow, the 2nd switch to enable power has already saved me once.I've used it primarily to power 24V 3D printer hot ends outside of the printer to address clogs or the inevitable blob of filament encasing the hot end from a print gone horribly wrong. The hot end is powered at 24V while monitoring the temp with the thermocouple connected to my DVM. Once it reached the target temp of 300C, it's easy to dial back the voltage to 12-14V, as needed, to hold the hot end at the desired temp. It's also used to power the onboard systems of my giant scale RC aircraft when working on the bench during setup, rather than using the batteries.A really good buy, and nicely made. Recommended.

You might not want to purchase this power supply to power your pacemaker or insulin injection pump, but for most hobbyist electrical/electronics projects, it's a well-made and well-priced 30VDC/10A adjustable supply. The output is clean for a switching power supply although likely measurably noisier than a much more expensive "lab-rated" linear power supply.Things I liked:The voltage & current adjustments are easier to set precisely compared to other models that have coarse and fine adjustment pots. Select the digit by pressing the voltage or current encoder knob and then turn to adjust the value up or down. Values wrap, so for example if you've selected the 0.X digit and go past 9, it wraps to 1.0. The encoders also have detents, so changing values provides feedback - one click per unit. Turning either knob (intentionally or by accident) has no effect unless the knob has been pressed first to select a digit.Output voltage & current displays are accurate - they matched the readings on my multimeter.It's quiet; it does have a fan, but it's temperature-controlled and doesn't turn on until it needs to. I never heard it turn on until I had a load of 4A connected for several minutes.It has an output on/off button separate from the unit's power button. I wouldn't consider purchasing an adjustable supply without this feature.Minor quibbles:The included banana jack/alligator clip output wires are on the short side (about 18" long). They appear to be 18 gauge - I'd probably want to use something a bit more substantial if I was planning on powering a high current load for any length of time.The AC power cord is on the short side as well (4'); I needed a longer cord and happened to find one in my junk box, so it wasn't an issue. The power supply uses a standard C13 - 5/15P cord.

Summary: This is the 3rd power supply I have bought since 2020. The first two were the same 30V/6A (180W), one blew out, and the other is still working. Wanted a bit more power when charging 12V AGM batteries, so ordered this unit, which is a 30V/10A (300W). Overall, very satisfied with the performance.Use-Cases: In addition to charging 12V AGM batteries, I use this bench top power supply to charge lithium batteries. Have a couple of Milwaukee M18 battery packs that are older, and sometimes drop below the point where the standard charger will recognize it, so after opening the case, I can individually charge the cells. I typically start with this charger, and then finish off the cells with an XTAR lithium battery charger. Sometimes the XTAR stops at 4.0-4.1V, so I use the power supply to drive it to 4.20V when top balancing the pack.Observations: This unit has a robust cooling fan, and when running at high current (above 5A) the fan kicks on. While the added noise might bother some, this is the purpose of the cooling, to keep the power supply within the allowed temperature range, which can lead to long term reliability. This 300W power supply's cooling fan is definitely moving way more air volume than the 180W one. Selecting this one was easy because it was the #1 rated offering in "Lab Power Supplies", with over 1000 ratings/reviews.Recommendation: Last time I researched power supplies was 2021, so I spent an hour looking at a bunch of different options in the $50-200 range. I looked at a couple of dual units, essentially two of these in one, with the ability to parallel or series the output, but decided against those offerings which were in the $150 price range (3x the cost). The same can be done manually (with the requisite knowledge) with two individual units). In general, if you buy a higher rated supply, and run it at half power, it should last longer than a smaller unit running at full power (all the time).Pros: Jesverty is a specialty power supply manufacturer, many with great ratings/reviews; cost is comparable to similar offerings.Cons: None for now.Conclusion: At $50 for a 30/10A (300W) power supply, rating this 5-stars.

I’m a hobbyist and this bench power supply is perfect for me. I’ve been using this power supply for about 8 months and I’ve had no issues. I’ve been using it to charge batteries and to power electronics when I don’t have the proper power cable on hand. Solid build and easy to use. Highly would recommend this item to anyone who works in electronics, it is a must. 100% would recommend to anyone.
