A bit expensive, but gets the job done. It got my really hard to remove fram filter from walmart off with no issues. I was really impressed. I guess you get what you pay for.

Needed this in order to replace a massive filter on a bypass filter kit from Amsoil. Filter #EaBP90.

I finally found a oil filter wrench that fits smaller oil filters! As anyone knows who changes their own oil, finding the correct size oil filter wrench is an ongoing nightmare! I bet, like me, you have a larger collection of oil wrenches which most doesn't work. Now I can easily get those small oil filters off without standing on my head.

Review of 57010 Import filter wrench. Had a filter stuck so tight that a flute style wrench rounded the flutes off. Was able to unscrew the filter using this tool. Good fit and tight grip on a 2.5 inch diameter filter. Very tight space on Mercury outboard motor but was able to get just enough room to turn the filter using the adjustable angle on the handle. Heavy duty tool. Excellent product.

I like to spend the extra money and buy good quality tools that work great and last, oddly that rule has never applied to oil filter wrenches though. I’ve used the cheap auto part store metal band wrenches that fall apart after limited light use, the canvas strap wrenches that don’t grip well, the goofy ones you put on a ratchet with the fingers that are useless, the rubber strap wrenches they shouldn’t even sell they break so easy and finally decided I’m done with all the garbage. Changing my own oil should be a simple task, not a test in frustration by doing it with a junk filter wrench. I finally searched for the best wrench for this I could find, I didn’t care how much it was going to cost, I found this one and after using it just one time I would have gladly paid 2-3 times more for it if that’s what this would have cost. It’s solid, it’s heavy, it’s a well thought out design, you can tell it’s the last filter wrench you’ll ever want or need to buy.This 3.5-3.875” wrench worked perfectly for my LLY Duramax Baldwin B1441 oil filter and CAT 1R-0750 (or stock Duramax) fuel filter. It’s too big for my AirDog FF100-2 lift pump fuel filter so I’m going to order another one of these in the smaller size for that.If you aren’t sure what size wrench you need just look up the specs on the filter you want to use on the manufacturers website, they’ll list the filter dimensions. Zoom in on the picture of these wrenches, it shows the size range on the handle.
