It feels very sturdy, holds all the bikes securely, and the tiltable feature makes it super convenient when accessing the trunk. I also love that it folds up when not in use, saving space. Assembly was straightforward, and it stays stable even on longer drives. Overall, a reliable and well-designed bike rack โ highly recommend! Review: Heavily flawed design - no support response from Forwode - I have the hitchmount rack (model: DB-HMS34) and there are a few problems. First the internal nut and bolt that secure the toggle lifting attachment which allows the rack to tilt for the car hatch opening jiggled loose, came off and disconnected. I took the rack apart and found the nut and bolt but for the life of me cannot sort out how to get in there to resecure it. Another problem is that the rubber ties round openings are too small/tight. It is near impossible to pull the rubber over the tabs. It takes considerable force. I thought to sand down the tabs. What do you recommend? I can't cut the holes wider - not sure what tool would do that. And then there is the u-bolt attachment. The bolt ends face down diminishing the car clearance by a full inch - which defeats the purpose of a high clearance vehicle (I have a RAV4). What were you guys thinking? Further complicating things is how bottoming out (making tight turn on steep grade for instance) will eventually damage the bolts to a point that disconnecting the ubolt will in time not be possible. I asked three times about the work around on these three issues without a reply from the service email provided on their website.

Heavy-duty
Heavy-duty I like them

Hitch locking pin is too short!
Seems sturdy but heavy. Needed to purchase a $24 U-Haul trailer hitch pin because the one that came with it isnโt long enough to fit a Subaru hitchโฆโฆ

A solid, no nonsense bike rack
The instructions are poorly written and designed. The rack itself is well designed and constructed I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a carrier for their bicycles

Worked well!
It works well! You have to really move things around to get 4 full size bikes on it, but it can be done.

Poor quality
The plastic is cracking and splitting after a few uses.
