High potency liquid folate in a simple, purified water base Effective – Helps to support immunity, energy, methylation and pregnancy Advanced - Provides 400mcg of the metabolically active form of folate as Methylfolate which has been shown to be better absorbed and used by the body Optimum support – Some individuals are less able to efficiently convert folic acid to methylfolate due to genetic variations in the activity of the MTHFR enzyme, therefore taking methylfolate is a more effective option for everyone Pregnancy support – Taking a 400mcg supplement of folate (folic acid) is recommended prior to and during pregnancy to support normal maternal tissue growth Flexible - Only use what you need. Drop straight under the tongue for maximum absorption or mix into liquids Review: The short version: I had a folate level of 13.7 nmol/L then after 3 months of supplementing with this, alongside other supplements and a healthy diet, I had increased to 45.4 nmol/L (normal range 8.83-60.8 nmol/L). Detailed version: I recently discovered (via a 23andme test) that I have a genetic mutation called ++ MTHFR C677T. Sounds pretty badass, but in reality it just means I lack the MTHFR enzyme which is needed to convert to folic acid (Vitamin B9) to make it usable in my body. This can result in greatly reduced energy, amongst many other potential symptoms. I was suffering with extreme exhaustion and nothing seemed to be helping (resting, eating well etc.) I now take a daily multivitamin containing 200mg folate. Other supplements I currently take (not all directly related to MTHFR) include Betteryou B12, magnesium glycinate, Betteryou Vitamin D, Swanson Vitamin E tocotrienols, Source Naturals Optizinc & Solgar's Rhodiola complex. This dropper is ideal to top up my folate dose since it's conveniently distributed drop by drop (100mcg per drop) that I can easily take 200mcg extra to meet my 400mcg daily requirement. I choose to have 1 drop under my tongue in the morning and again early afternoon. Taking this natural form of folate has helped me to slowly increase my energy. If I need to increase or decrease the dose it's much easier to do with this product rather than messing around with my multivitamin. You can put it into liquid and drink it but it doesn't taste strong so is easier just to pop under your tongue. If you use this you don't automatically need all the supplements I take but be aware it's important to take Vitamin B12 alongside folate because they work synergistically, so if you supplement with this folate only you could cause a B12 deficiency. You may need to choose a high quality B complex to maintain an overall balance of the B vitamins. Review: Good high quality brand.

Tasted like water . Couldn’t tell if it was the real thing ! Asked seller if the product was original and was assured it was. It had no effect on me. Maybe I’m a fool who’s folated enough ?? So perhaps this review with one star is unfair
