Was nervous to get this - Wasn't sure it would work but it truly does. Great light filtering (blocks out direct light). Thick, but not overwhelmingly thick. Fit was almost perfect, had to cut it down ever so slightly but that's so easy - It's fine! We love it. Condo association recently installed ridiculously bright lights that are more like strobe lights that sit on ALL NIGHT LONG. Even with black out curtains, the light was beaming into my arch window. This has been such a perfect block of that ridiculous light which they refused to change out prior to me finding this. Couldn't be happier! It even looks quite chic and luxury.

I couldn’t be happier with this. I’ve had this up for a few months. The color was extremely close to my separate top down bottom up shades. My window is custom so I had to cut it. My knives weren’t sharp enough to get through the thickness but between the butcher knife and the scissors, I managed to smooth the cut to a clean edge. The instructions were very clear and simple. The Florida sun beats that side of the house and the bedroom was so incredibly hot plus extremely bright making it very difficult to sleep past sunrise. It does the job it says it does. The room temperate has dropped and air conditioning is preserved. Great value for price. I’m going to purchase 2 more for my other arch windows.

The shades are really good to prevent the light coming in and keep the heat out. For that reasons I would give it a five. The reason I have given the shades a four star review is because it is hard to cut. I saw reviews complaining about that and thought that is ridiculous how hard could the paper shades be to cut. Well, the reviews were right it is hard to cut them. Make sure you have a sharp knife or a saw to cut them. I am pretty sure it’s the insulation of the shades that makes it hard to cut. But that was why the reason I bought them was because I needed the light and heat to be block and this shade does that.

Very easy to install. They really eliminate light if you need to stop it on the half moon windows. Trimmable, just make sure you are ordering the right size. I almost ordered a smaller size. Glad I double checked.

This has been a game changer for me. The moon would shine on pillow and an eye mask wasn’t cutting. This is gorgeous and effective. The room is dark. I got the beige/tan.

Easy to cut and looks amazing!

Great, inexpensive solution for darkening an arched window! My kids have complained about sleeping in the bedroom with the arched window because the morning sun wakes them up too early. Problem solved! This was super easy to install, easy to open and close, and great value for the money. The fact that two came in the package was an added bonus!

I recently installed the Arch Window Blackout shade, and I am impressed. Before this, I had a regular shade in the window that wasn't a blackout shade, and I didn't realize how much light and heat it was letting in. The difference is literally like night and day especially during this southern summer. Installation wasn't too hard, although cutting the shade to size was a bit tedious. I ended up using a large bread knife, which worked surprisingly well. Now, my room stays much cooler and darker, and I can finally sleep in on the weekends without being woken up by the morning sun. The only con is something I never thought about: the amount of light in my bedroom for my plants has greatly decreased. Although the fan allows you to open it on one side with the magnetic closure, I realistically don't see myself getting on a chair to open it every single day. I might need to find a new spot for them or consider some grow lights. Despite this, I highly recommend these shades for anyone looking to improve their room's comfort.

Ganz einfaches Anbringen und hältbwas es verspricht. Meine Fenster sind zum Süden ausgerichtet, und das im letztem OG. Im Sommer bricht brutal die Hitze ein, dank dieser Jalousie nun nicht mehr. Etwas Feingefühl beim händichen Umlegen zwischen auf und zu ist gefordert, aber machbar.

You need a large sharp blade to cut the product to length. I tried a regular utility knife, it was too small and wobbly to get a clean cut. I used another knife with a new OLFA Pro Ultra-Sharp Extra Heavy-Duty Snap-Off Blades, 25-mm. Cut through it nicely and left a clean edge. Also to note that my application was for a 1/4 round window. Given the blind is designed for a semi round window there is extra material. I needed to cut off around an extra inch from the radius measurement to get the blind to fit as there was too much material on radius side. It does a good job at keeping the light out. I also like that there is a magnetic connection on one side so I can get back there to clean. Had my windows replaced and behind the old blind there was literally mushrooms growing.

I recently made a purchase of two sets of the blackout version of the arch blinds. The product has proven to be highly effective in blocking out light. Prior to using these blinds, the excessive amount of light in my room made it challenging to sleep during the evening hours due to my work schedule. However, with the installation of these blinds, the room can now be effectively darkened, creating a more conducive environment for sleep.

Great product for the price. I did find it a bit difficult to cut and used a very sharp knife. Would recommend a cutting device more user friendly for this blind be an option to include with this purchase or having the option to have an exact cut before being shipping. I ended up having to snip down a bit with scissors to get it to fit that was not exactly a clean cut but it got the job done.
