30352 Replacement Control Unit Accessory Spart Part for Digital 132 and Digital 124 Slot car Race Track Sets

This is the brain of the Carrera digital 132/124 system and it allows you to use all the digital features sold separately, pit lane, driver displays, lap counter, position tower, start light, etc. It's what you need if you have an older digital system with the "black box" controller. If you have a Carrera analog system such as "evolution" and want to go digital, this is the first piece you would need but consider purchasing a new set. The only thing you can use from the analog system without modification is the track itself. A new digital set will give you the control unit, controllers (go wireless), the transformer, a couple of lane change sections, a couple of digital cars. Then use all your old track to expand the new layout. You can add digital chips to the analog cars if you want.

It is so much easier to use this product vs the old black box that came with my Set. It's a must have if want the full experience of your Carrera Digital 132 or 124 track set. I also paid a lot less than I have if I bought it from the local hobby store.

This control unit is great. Now I can code an autonomous car and race against it. The autonomous car also changes lanes to keep you guessing what it might do.

Carrera has great functionality that provides great entertainment without having to look at a screen. Expensive but worth the cost.
