Nomex and MultiCam pilot gloves are sold in two version: Nomex (DuPont) fabric (Colors Black, OD and Tan). Nomex material is not fire proof, it is only flash flame resistant. It is designed not to melt at high temperatures when exposed to a flash flame. Compared to regular nylon fiber, Nomex is a much better flame resistant fiber. Do not use these gloves as oven mitts or to handle hot objects. Second is MultiCam Camouflage with waterproof properties and NanoSphere water repellant coating Nomex: (DuPont) flash flame resistant. Soft material. Colors Black, OD and Tan. Nomex material is not fire proof, it is only flash flame resistant. At some point it will melt, depending on time and heat source temperature. Once exposed to extreme flash heat source we advised discarding the gloves. Waterproof properties and NanoSphere water repellant coating. MultiCam fabric is not fire resistant. Gloves are not 100% waterproof, just the multicam fabric has the waterproof properties, palm side is sheep skin. Both versions of glove (Nomex and MultiCam) come with soft and durable sheep skin leather palm and thumb area. Elastic wrist area. Glove provides comfortable snug fit. General Glove Sizing Chart: Small (7), Medium (8), Large (9-9.5), X-Large (10-10.5), XXL (11). Measure around flat hand at knuckles, thumb excluded. Number of inches equals the glove size. Short sizing will cover wrist area. Long sizing will come up to forearm. Great for driving, shooting, hunting, aviation.
