OXOGood Grips Stack Grinder Shaker

The media could not be loaded.  Love this salt pepper grinder, just what I was looking for, I love freshly ground pepper and I like it course but I dislike rock salt, I much prefer shakable table salt. so when I saw this I just had to buy it, so pleased with it. You turn the top salt section to grind the pepper, easy 5 level adjuster for the pepper coarseness, as I say I like course pepper and often buy a jar of course pepper but I wouldn’t use 5 on my dinner. I like setting 2/3 in my sandwich’s and in dinner but it is great that it has a easy adjuster. Only thing you should bear in mind is that if you fill the salt up too high, when grinding the pepper the salt does fly out a bit, not ideal but perhaps I shouldn’t have emptied the whole packet in that they supply, I’m sure it wouldn’t happen if less salt is out in next time! So far it also seems to not leave pepper all coming out the bottom, my old pepper grinder always made the table messy with bits of ground pepper always falling out, this isn’t doing that which is a bonus, would highly recommend

After less than 2 years, it appears that the salt has likely corroded the screw that attaches the lid and snapped off in the lid and now the lid can't be reattached and the whole unit has to be thrown out. This is a serious design flaw and nothing to do with how it is used as the top only needs to be screwed on lightly.It's shocking to see so much other reviews complaining about the exact same issue which OXO is not only choosing to ignore but they continue to sell this product knowing that it has an inherent design flaw. This OXO Good Grips Stack Grinder Shaker is NOT fit for purpose and therefore OXO should not be holding customers to their useless 1 year warranty and should be offering some sort of refund, even partial.It's astounding that OXO is blatantly ignoring all of its loyal customers. I was a big fan of OXO and have purchased over 24 OXO products in the past 5 years but refuse to continue supporting this company now. Their customer service is terrible.Please DO NOT waste your money and purchase this product. It most certainly will fail within a few months with regular use, a year or two if you're extremely lucky. For what you're paying that is not good value for money. Ignore all the glowing Vine reviews of a free product and look at the numerous reviews which all detail this exact same flaw.

The very first time I tried to refill this, the screw in the lid snapped and so the lid can't be reattached. The salt section was immediately completely useless of course but I attempted to persist using the pepper section just with a loose lid - after several episodes of spilling peppercorns everywhere though I've realised that the whole thing just needs to go in the bin :(

As many other reviewers have stated this OXO salt and pepper grinder has a serious design flaw that renders it useless.The top cap screws onto a spindle to seal the compartments holding the salt and pepper corns. Eventually the salt works it’s way into the thread on the spindle and causes the top cap to become seized. When removing the top cap in order to refill the salt & pepper compartments the threaded portion of the spindle shears off inside the top cap.Regrettably this has happened to both of the OXO salt & pepper grinders I have purchased.Although the grinder looks good it is not at all durable and failure seems a likely prospect. I won’t be buying a third.

This product has a major design flaw which ultimately results in the salt lid breaking. This is due to the screw which the lid is attached to becoming corroded via the salt compartment and then snapping.This happened to me after 13 months and I was informed I was well outside the warranty period and no replacement, refund or voucher was offered. Very poor as I'd imagine it was only 1 month outside and there was no further response after of pointed this out.Stay well clear of this. Despite it looking nice the grinding mechanism is not great and it will eventually fail you. There are much better options out there which will last more than a year or so!

Perfect! Bought for my grandparents as they’ve been looking for one. They love it. Easy to use and easy to grip. Great that you can adjust the coarseness of the pepper and cafe pre-filled.

Love this, bought a second when the first was broken (by us) I like pepper finely 'milled' my son likes his in bigger chunks so the adjustment is so useful and easy to change. Love that the salt and pepper is all in one pot. perfect.

This is the third same product of Oxo I have bought in as many years.Awful product in that sooner or later, the salt corrodes the screw top and you can no longer use it.DO NOT BUY
