Fantastic hub with features you wouldn’t expect! The ability to use this as the basis for a security system makes it an incredible value! All of my Aqara products have delivered what they promised and more.

Aqara as well known for its quality and ease of use. 1st, the Hub doesn't come in the Saudi outlet socket ( the 3 gang) so if you don't have a universal outlet socket you will not be ae to use, which the seller should have mentioned on the description of the item! 2nd, I am not sure if I got a defect one but the Aqara M1 G2 is not able to connect at ALL. I tried 10 times and every time I get Account binding failed. Then it got connected but every 1min I get connection times out and it stops responding, even though when i go to the network i see it is actuallyconnected to my network with strong signal. I tried 1st to reset the network and reconnect. Nothing worked, I still get the same message. Then I hard reset the item more than 4 times and I get the same message, Account binding failed. I tried their troubleshooting website and the FAQs, and all say hard reset (pressing thr button 10 times repeatedly) or reset the network (hard press the button for 10 seconds) and nothing worked as well. My network is strong and has excellent strength! Very frustrating experience.

This is a Zigbee hub made for Aqara accessories. I bought it to support my first Aqara smart light switch. The RGB night light feature is a bonus which is very functional. Setting up the hub was easy and straight forward. The integration with Apple HomeKit is very good and smooth. Highly recommended.

Good, not great. Loses connection every once in a while. I also got a dead one but luckily after proving it didn't work 10 ways to Sunday support sent a new one out so I'm happy about that. The Alexa integration doesn't work for sending voice notifications and it's useless but the system by itself and in it's app works great. I use the light to tell my family I'm on calls and use it as a night light for the kids, so cool. I have the button and door sensors. They work flawless as long as the hub doesn't lose connection. The app is a little weird but setup is easy once you get the hang of it. Not the most intuitive system but the size of the sensors is nice and small and when I eventually get home assistant running this should be a great starter set for sensors. I'd buy more, but only from Amazon or the Aqara store since I had issues with their hub.
