Decent performance for a reasonable price. The Mic is USB and XLR as needed.
This is a decent entry level kit to let you start working with a higher quality mic for podcasting and recording voice for multimedia purposes. I bought the kit with the Mic, mounting arm and small mixing console. I like the physical controls to help me dynamical set levels and tune levels without having to look at the adjustment on the screen. The mixer has very basic functionality and effects but if you have limited needs it is flexible enough get your feet wet. You can do a lot with a very basic set up. The mic has decent performance. Its not a high end mic but it is better than almost every other mic that comes with a web cam or a computer. If you want raise the bar on your set up this is a good budget option.

Can't beat the price
I did side by side comparison with this and my buddies $300 stand alone mic. They have very close to the same sound quality if using the XLR cable and since this package comes with the mixer definitely pick one up as XLR cables are cheap. The boom is a bit on the cheap side but they do make a more expensive one that I may pickup. Honestly these are podcast quality. Just don't know about longevity yet as I have only had a few months.

Works great with my setup, just what I was looking for!
My brother recommended this product to me as a convenient way of controlling multiple audio out devices. I currently have a speaker system that was plugged into the 3.5mm jack of the soundcard in my PC. I have an audio DAC that I have plugged into my PC via USB to use for headphones, and I have a USB microphone plugged into the PC as well. The inconvenience for me is that I have to constantly switch the Windows audio device from the DAC to the built-in soundcard to switch between my headphones and my speakers. With this set, I have the microphone plugged into the box via XLR, my headphones via 3.5mm jack into the "Headphone" output, and the speakers plugged into the "Line Out" output. I then connect the box via USB to a KVM switch which I use to switch between my main pc, my work docking station, and my home linux server. This allows me to use my headphones and/or my speakers on all 3 systems, along with my microphone. Extremely convenient for my setup and for my use case. There is an additional 3.5mm "Line In" input that you could also add another input to (e.g. PC USB, some other system via "Line In"), but I don't use this input currently since USB provides the sound for my 3 systems via KVM. It does have a 3.5mm port for a headset microphone in addition to the XLR port. I tested a Razer headset that has both the mic and headphone in one plug and it did pick up the mic and did play sound through the headphones. The volume is controlled by the "Headphone" slider as well. The Razer headphones have a volume control on them as well, and cranking it to max, I did not notice a difference in volume between the Sennheisers I have plugged into the "Headphone" jack vs the "Headset" jack. So you should get full volume and control to both ports simultaneously if needed. It does appear to disable the XLR microphone, though, if you do have a microphone plugged into the "Headset" port. So if you purchase just the audio mixer with no microphone, it could work for you to control a headset and speakers. For this combo, connecting the microphone to the box via XLR does not provide any control or capability to drive the LEDs on the microphone, so don't count on having that. I have not tried the microphone via USB since this doesn't really matter to me and isn't ideal for my setup. I am very pleased with this purchase. At the time I purchased this, I got the combo for under $100. Unbelievable value for the convenience provided for my setup, I absolutely love it.

Amazing but had to make another purchase.
The Mic is amazing, it’s sounds super good as well as looks great with the rgb. The controls on the mic let you changes the lights as well as mute and unmute while using the usb mode. It is super easy to use but if you are using a mixer it doesn’t come with an xlr cable which is the bad thing. Besides that the performance is amazing and i’ve gotten many compliments in game. As well, the mic will never get in your way due to its size. Worth it!

love the items makes my gaming set up look amazing would have been nice to know that it did not come with the XLR cable to hook the 2 items together, if I would have known I would have ordered the cable at the same time now I have to wait to use the mixer

Great gaming mic for beginners!
Switching from an Astro a40 TR edition with amp my mic was cutting in and out. This mic pics up my voice and projects it very clear. For the price you can’t beat it. I use IEMs now as the over the head headphones pinch my glasses on my ears. It makes long gaming hours comfortable.
