This is my 1st and favorite cast iron cookbook. Love the tasty skillet & dutch oven recipes & tips on how to care for my new cast iron cookware. The book itself is made of heavy glossy paperstock & has photo’s of almost every recipe. I especially like the bread recipes: Focaccia, Sourdough, Autumn Pumpkin Bread, Southern Cornbread etc. There’s even Deep Dish Pizza, Chicken Pot Pie & Granny’s Apple Pie recipes in here. What’s not to like?!

I gifted this recipe book with a cast iron set and the person that received it LOVED IT! Great variety of recipes. Recipes are organized by category, and the recipes even tell what kind of pot to use and give your directions on how to make it on the stove top, on the fire, etc. It's a pretty handy thing. For someone who is learning the basis of cast iron this is certainly a go-to to get started!

Nice book, not cheap and has a washable cover and pages. Great recipies! I can't wait for my son and DIL to make something for me from it. It's Christmas gift to go with the cast iron Dutch oven they wanted!

Ordered, arrived quickly, as described. Like cooking out and camping . Eating good as well . Has some great recipes to cook and enjoy . Very pleased with recipes and got good comments from others who tried out . Zero complaints. Makes roughing not bad at all. Would recommend, good outdoor cookbook.

Lots of good recipes and tips for cooking. Almost all of the deserts sound really good. Amazon if you don't stop counting and requireing a certain amount of words to be typed, I'll stop leaving reviews.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. He likes that it contains recipes and includes three ways for cooking, including indoor and outdoor. I looked at several others that were offered on cast iron cooking and this one was highly rated. After receiving, I understand its popularity.

This is 1 of the most confusing cookbooks I have ever tried to use. Several times the instructions seem incomplete. Other times seems to be written for very novice(very) cooks. Will not use.
