Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but the accuracy and clarity you get from this device justify the cost in my opinion. 📸 Image Quality & Features The thermal images are clear and accurate, with enough definition to spot subtle temperature differences. You can easily identify cold or hot spots around the home, check whether radiators are heating evenly, or even see the outline of pipework when diagnosing a problem beneath flooring. It’s also surprisingly lightweight and charges via USB-C, which is very handy. The onboard memory (about 2.5GB) for storing images is a nice touch - no need to constantly offload files unless you want to. When taking thermal pictures, each image will take about 80KB of storage space it'll take a while before you need to clear out any memory. 🏡 Everyday Practical Use I’ll be attaching three images with my review: • One showing cold spots forming in the corner of a room - mine doesn’t show a leak, but this is exactly the kind of sign you’d look for when investigating potential moisture issues. • Another image showing visible pipe runs under the floor, extremely helpful for diagnosing plumbing problems without guesswork. • And one of a radiator displaying both hot and cold patches, making it easy to tell when a system needs bleeding or balancing. 👨‍👩‍👧 Good for Family, Friends & Long-Term Use This is the kind of tool you’ll find yourself using every winter, if not year-round. I’ve used a few thermal imaging cameras. This one is not the best however for the price it’s good enough. Good quality very easy to use. The resolution is ok but again for the price worth the money. I purchased it for an emergency heating job and it would have taken too long and cost a lot more money to get the one i really wanted. To be honest I really don’t have any regrets with this unit. When I sent to images to my client they was taken aback with what they saw and couldn’t thank me enough. So long and short of this review i 100% would recommend this unit. Gave 4 stars because there are better units on the market, but for the cost very good.

This is a must have for any keen DIYer - bought to trace pipes in our large home and it works perfectly, can see (especially upstairs) clearly where the central heating pipes run under the floor, really important for planning additional radiators. Also highlighted quite a lot of cold spots in the ceiling where insulation isn't sat properly. Well worth the relatively high price.

I bought this to monitor a bathroom after renovation. There was a small leak during the build, and from the ceiling downstairs this camera easily confirmed where water was spilled. Later it was very useful to find places where I splattered water on the walls and ceiling, to dry them up - those places were invisible to the naked eye. Aside from the usual checking for cold-spots in the house, I found some more neat uses. In the attached photo I used the AC to rapidly dry towels and confirm if the layout of the towels was optimal to speedup drying. The battery lasts for ages. Remember to keep the provided USB cable, for some people it's the only cable that will charge the battery. For me, a normal 5V-only USB-C charger and a PC's USB-A port work, too. I couldn't get it to work as a webcam/usbdrive, though. Fortunately I don't need that functionality.

Recently purchased and very clear to see lack of insulation in walls, ceilings and how how badly my front door is fitted. You can also check temperature of liquids and it can help 'see' behind building materials for heating pipes. I'm sure this will also have automotive uses and many other uses but it does exactly what I got it for. Easy to use and understand, especially if you view a couple of videos on YT.

I used this to find in-floor heating lines prior to demolition for underground plumbing. Worked better than I expected. Keep finding more and more ways to use it!
