I loved this story. Engaging and lovely. Good characters, relatable, lovely descriptive scenes and scenery. Gentle plot and just an all around delight to read.

An uplifting read about finding love after loss in unexpected places.Loved the characters and now want to live out there running a b&b.

I loved this story. The characters are well described and the plot is good. I didn't know what was going to happen and I was disappointed one minute and delighted the next. I got carried away.

An enjoyable albeit very predictable storyline based in stereotypical France. The book would have benefited from a good edit as there was a lot of repetition, mainly about feelings of grief.

A gently,gorgeous story that takes you to Provence as if you were walking alongside the characters. Lovely descriptive and thoughtful words that take you on a journey where you have hope for what might happen.This book made me smile and have a tear in my eye. It covers loss and feelings so sensitively.And the gentle thread of humour running through it is a delight.I loved this book. Perfect for snuggling up with a cuppa.

From a crazy sad start to the world of Tv the story unfolds brilliantly , I didn,t see the end coming but loved and laughed a lot

A TV documentary showing how a failing B &Bin Provence could be made successful, the Provence team in competition with other B &B’s. Both the main characters carry baggage from previous relationships and the TV producers move schedules and cut budgets. A nice romcom.

What a fun and delightful read. I could feel the sunshine, smell the paint, and taste the wine. It truly felt like being there!

The book was enjoyable. A nice mix of characters and Provence life.The only complaint is the actual book product itself. Amazon manufactured in Acheson Alberta and a lot of the pages fell out. So not a very good bound product.If you opened the book fully, pages would fall out.Not a very good printed book copy.

This was a fun, engaging, uplifting fast read. Everything---plot, characters, conclusions were according to formula. What I really enjoyed was the introduction to Roussillon, France. A good book will inspire you to go there. I immediately went to Chrome to look up this magical place! I want to go! In case I never get there, I was taken there in my mind, by the author. Thank you.

What a delightful story! The setting is the south of France in the fall of the year. An English grandmother, young for such a title, is contacted by a friend to fill in last minute on a tv reality show . The premise is that folks who had once dreamed of being home designers would teach be assigned a struggling B&B in the south of France. With a small budget and one month, the designer would rescue the business. Working through all kinds of problems, some of them hilarious, our heroine worker with the owner to fix up the business and at the same time create a powerful friendship. The competition became all about home and family. The style of writing is friendly and easy, the characters are extremely well-developed, and the beautifully described scenery keep the reader totally engaged. You have to read this book to learn the ending which is great.
