Homesick Scented Candle, Alaska

I bought this candle in “Alaska” and the scent was absolutely breathtaking. The perfect combination of cedar and outdoorsy mixed with cozy freshness. I would definitely buy this again, or just gift to a friend or family member since it smells good even without the nostalgic undertones!

Doesn’t exactly smell like “Alaska” but it smells amazing! I love this candle. Does burn pretty fast but I also use candles a lot. It smells very wood-ey but it doesn’t have that cheap bad cologne smell (that some pine candles have)I love it!

My husband is from Alaska and he terribly misses home. This was the perfect gift. He immediately had to fight back tears. He says the candle smells exactly how he remembers home. I was afraid he might have thought it to be a bit cheesy, he’s not the sentimental type, but this was by far one of the best gift choices.

the scent is almost too strong. it doesn’t smell like home, home. but it does remind you of it. if i made this i’d add natural scents, more greenery like cedar and fern, less artificial “glacier water” and all that. i’d say, do more research on each state and what scents the people of said states like/remind them of home. the packaging however is outstandingly gorgeous. i wouldn’t recommend this unless you’re on the verge of a breakdown and need a reminder of home.

Gave it to my mom. She loved it. It smells kind of fruity/bright but also earthy and smoky. Very nice scent. I've never been disappointed by this brand.

Smells a lot like Alaska in the fall. Being born and raised it brings back those fall smells

It smells really nice. Tho we're only hearing it not burning it. It's a really nice quality candle probably on par price wise as other higher end candles

I really wanted to love this candle. It was nicely packaged, burned cleanly, and the scent dispersed nicely throughout the room. However, when it came to delivering on the promised scent of home I found it lacking. Upon opening the box there is an initial hint of evergreen which quickly faded. Once lit the only scent is a slightly watery smell not unlike most generic "ocean" scented candles. For those hoping to capture a tiny bit of home in the Lower 48, this is not the candle for you.
