Very good product worked a treat to install a door lock

First time putting door up and using this made it look and feel simple its a wow thing very easy to use and the door 🚪 looks Professionally fittled very simple to use you don't need instructions just watch on utube. Using this has been me paying a door fitter £50

The unit does not quite fit correctly on fire rated doors as it is tight and only one side can be applied flat to the door. It still does the job and also need to be careful with heat given off from the Drill as this can cause the plastic to melt.

This was just the job and perfect for fitting a new lock to my toilet door. However, with no plans to change any more locks, it is now redundant among my other tools. However, the cost was a lot cheaper than it would have been to employ a carpenter to fit the lock.

The thing is, any other option would be very expensive. I had to buy an additional circle saw piece that is smaller and more suitable for the deadbolt lock I wanted to install. The frame is also wider than the door’s thickness that was 35 cm, while the width of the frame was 45 cm, which made it difficult for an accurate cutting. Otherwise, it was helpful to know where to cut to install the deadbolt lock without spending a lot of time in measurement.

Excellent product so easy to use, first time trying to fit locks and with the help of this fantastic gadget i did two in twenty minutes…. so good

Product is not standard for uk doors, the large whole has 2 setting, but both are too wide from the end point of the door.

Helps ensure a cut at 90 to the door edge. Would have liked a couple of wedges in the kit to help centralise it before screwing it on.
