The Philips Hue White and Colour Ambiance Surimu Smart LED Light is pretty impressive!The Philips hue circular light was a lot bigger than I was expecting. The diameter is huge. Once this is installed, it will give off a lot of illumination.The light has a very impressive build quality, and it has a lot of heft to it, because the light is mainly constructed of metal, with only the diffuser being made of plastic.Because this light is heavy, I'm waiting for my electrician to install this, because it probably won't hang from my plasterboard ceilings.And the light looks pretty complex to wire up, if you're not DIY minded.But this Lights features are amazing, between 50,000 colours of warm white and cool white.And you Can select any colour on the RGB colour wheel, which has 16 million colours, making this slightly suitable for anyone.The good thing about Philip's lights is, they don't produce any kind of flicker, so they are easy on the eyes, and should cause fewer headaches.You Can control this light with a Philips hue bridge, and use Alexa or Google to turn the light on or off.You Can also ask Google or Alexa to change it to any color of your choosing, or you can change it yourself by downloading the Philips hue app, which is controlled via Bluetooth.Overall, this is an impressive light by Philips, and this light should be suitable for just about everyone.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a very well constructed light from Philips and comes very well protected in a colourful box. A set of instructions is supplied but no fixings. The main part of the light is plastic with the mounting cover in metal, this is removable from the light with a push in lever, very easy to do. The metal cover can be attached to the ceiling, or wall, connections made and the light then clicked into position. Electrical connection is by a tiny terminal block, a little bit fiddly, I would have preferred some Wago type connectors, (which are easy to do by replacing the terminal block). There are only Live and Neutral connections, no Earth connection is provided, either to the light or the metal mounting cover. To assist whilst connecting there are two hanging cords which can be clipped to the mounting cover to take the weight of the light. The light connected to my Hue system without issue and dimming is smooth and colours are even and bright. With its clean, minimalistic lines we had intended this as a ceiling light for the kitchen but are now considering using it as a wall light. A great Hue light.

I’ve a few of these Philips Hue lights and find them easy to install and operate. They have a couple of clips on the underside of the led panel which you use when installing the light. It gives you the ability to use both hands to connect the wires while the panel is attached and can’t fall.I link them to my Echo device, using Alexa to turn them on and off. It is basic commands but once you’ve set everything up with the app you don’t need much more.The dimmer switch control was a little awkward initially to link up but works great once done. You can lift off the central remote so even when the back plate is connected to the wall you’re able to leave the remote somewhere within reach.Love the app that accompanies the light. Gives a lot of different options for brightness and hue.It’s more expensive than other LED lights but you do feel the quality of the product is high and the functionality great.

This Philips Ultra Slim Ceiling Light is absolutely gorgeous once installed. However, I must admit that it is a tad pricey. Inside the retail printed box, you'll find the ceiling light itself along with instructions for easy setup.This light is incredibly well made, a quality that you can actually feel. Installation is simple, taking only around 20 minutes. I like that it is compatible with Alexa, Google, and the Hue Lighting app from the Play Store.Once fitted, the light hangs down 5.5cm from the ceiling, boasting a sleek and slim design that provides a generous amount of evenly distributed light. With the app, you can choose the light color by simply sliding your finger across a color palette.Personally, I found the inclusion of a fixing hook wire to be very handy. Its a big help to the installation by securely holding the light in place while you connect the wiring. Overall, Im impressed by this Slim Ceiling Light although I think it's a bit pricey.

Very happy with this smart light from Philips.It looks smart, as well as being smart in terms of operating via an app.It's a sleek, subtle design and blends discreetly into white ceilings.It produces plenty of light, but thanks to the app you can also tweak light levels and tone in a way that is impossible with a non-smart light.Easy to set up the app, and very happy with the results.
